PS Swami Chidvilasananda wrote a hauntingly beautiful OM NAMAH SHIVAYA chant in the Bhairavi Raag. It's healing powers are palpable. I have been listening to kirtan, bhajans, qqawali, etc, for 20 years and it is one of my many favorites. Hauntingly beautiful! So much grace! A musician since 1977 (steeped in western theory), I would like to thank you again for your succinct explanation and wonderful example of the Bhairavi raag. I've been studying Carnatic music theory lately. This video is just what I needed. Thank you! 🙏
