I love KitzSki and this is a great ski area with a variety of trails for all levels of skiers. But the biggest problem is the low height of the whole ski area. I don't know if this ski area can still be sustained if the winter is warmer like this January in the future.
Thanks for the comment. I also have been thinking about that, this area has some good long runs but it's not high so we will see how it goes in future. Make the most of it while it's still good. Snow cover was excellent when I visited and should be back later in the season.
This was captured 18th Dec so snow was still good then and I'm in South Eastern Europe now. I think most of the damage due to warm weather and rain was in Western Europe (France and Switzerland). Hopefully it will recover by the time I return.

All we read about here in the US is that the Alps have no snow. But Kitz looks like it’s doing fine. Did it all melt?
