    I guess I’m a crazy super fan of you! You are so pretty and so smart and I love all your tutorials! I’m wondering if you think you could ever come up with a method for a wrap of a curved Tumblr? Or do you have an opinion that maybe it’s just not possible due to the shape of it .. I thought maybe cut in two sections , but there being a line of some sort. I’m wondering your opinion? Thanks so much and please post more videos!!

      Thank you so much! I have tried full wraps on curved tumblers and I just don't care to do it. I'd do a half wrap on one and glitter the other side or something. Do you have to sand the cup, or can you just paint it as is ? And can you use a plastic cup versus a stainless steel cup ?

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  Год назад +1

      You want to sand to prep for proper adherence and longevity. If you use a plastic cup and it sweats, it can lift the paint, adhesive and ultimately, the epoxy. Stainless double walled is best.

      I would use straight cups when wrapping vinyl because it's easier :-)

    I was wondering where you got the X-Acto knife the very sharp one that you have. Also why do you have to prep a cup if you’re putting vinyl on it wouldn’t it be the same if you I haven’t been prepped first let me know what you think and I appreciate your input

    I love this tutorial, I’m about a month and a half in to making tumblers, where did you get your exacto knife and your square combo ruler from?

    Awesome as always! Never stop making videos please! 😉 I’ve been meaning to ask, I know you use alumilite and that was always my go-to before people kept saying you need a UV resistant epoxy. Have you found an issue with that? Alumilite is so much easier to use than other epoxies in my opinion so I would be more than happy to go back to it! Thanks!

      That's a great question. I've used alumilite for over 2 years on over 1000 cups that have been purchased and shipped out all over the country. Never once has a customer come back to me saying they had an issue with the finishing over time. Not once. So IMO i don't feel the need to switch to something that costs me twice as much and twice as much effort to get the results I get with Alumilite. If you wanted to coat over your cup that was mostly coated with alumilite with another brand that is UV resistant in the final coat that's a great solution for most people who are concerned about that. I am not.

    Hi! Love your tutorials! I’m super new to tumblers. Isn’t the epoxy toxic? Is it safe on the rim where you drink from? Thanks!

    • @FlynnSistersBoutique
      @FlynnSistersBoutique  4 года назад +1

      This epoxy is FDA compliant after it is cured and it is safe to drink from the rim although most the tumblers we make come with plastic lids that you're drinking from and/or using a straw. Epoxy is toxic after it is mixed and while it's curing.
