- The original playthrough was over 27 hours! so 22 hours of content has been removed in this supercut to create a more streamlined and fun playthrough!
Specifically moments of meandering, travelling in circles, emotional or 'deep stuff' (keep the fun tone) have been removed, along with trimming dialogue. Story moments are likely removed in cases where the Grumps themselves aren't paying attention to it (since it would make no sense to keep it in). Lastly some silly complaints about the game/story as well - hopefully this will make it a fun supercut to watch!

I completely forgot that everyone really hated Dan when he first joined the show. Now I'm sad :(
No lie... I didn't like him either... Only because they didn't know their stage chemistry yet, so he kinda fell flat early on. Arin was kinda rough around then too because they didn't know how to bounce off each-other. But they hit a stride eventually and it's been uphill from there. Arin and Jon had alot of natural stage chemistry, but him and Dan grew into each other and made their own style. Honestly, I love it. Shame I'm usually too busy to sit down and watch a series they play nowadays.

@@Cryptospuridiom its a bad excuse tbh. They are not the only people that play games on youtube. He has Danny to pay attention when he talks and he can pay attention when danny talks. Lets say that he has just no desire to read any kind of story.
The one 3d game he really liked in a long time was Bloodborne. A game with hidden lore that you have to go out of your way to find. So he can totally ignore it and just play.
@@Desgaroth Arin is diagnosed with ADHD and he’s been pretty open about how that makes it difficult for him to concentrate on doing one thing at a time, let alone two. Him and Ross both have ADHD and struggle with this. I believe Arin has also stated that this is part of the reason why he no longer animates, since it required a lot of concentration on his part and it just wasn’t feasible while doing Game Grumps and managing his other business endeavors. I know it can be frustrating to see him miss obvious things, but that’s why you don’t watch Game Grumps for the gameplay.

Was terribly saddened to hear Ooccoo's outstanding bit offering fellatios was cut. Still a pretty great edit though.
I must say, I got pretty annoyed after a while, when I realized, that Dan seemed to think, he had to make a joke literally after EVERY SINGLE LINE OF DIALOGUE, they went through.....Got on my nerves pretty quickly. How about just letting yourself loose in the game, let yourself go and enjoy it? Idk, maybe it´s me... But during their Ocarina of Time playthrough, they told stories and the jokes flew so much more naturally... Idk, man.....
Other than that, entertaining as usual and a great edit! Thumbs up from me......

I love that Arin, a 30 something adult married man who's been gaming as his profession for over a decade, is still supremely confused by Zelda games made for children.
they are in 3d. he obviously has trouble with wrapping his mind around that for Nintendo Games in general.
Children have a lot more obsessive and competitive patience to beat games than adults do.

Twilight Princess was my first proper zelda game apart from spirit railroad or whatever it was called and tbf it was really confusing at parts like the broken bridge at hyrule Castle I remember never understand what to do

I love that Arin does seem to develop an appreciation of twilight princess which feels slightly better than his other playthroughs.
Yeah towards the end he got a bit tired but of the 3D Zelda's pre-botw this seems to have been his favorite or at least the one he complained about the least.

Fun Fact (because I did a paper on Shadow of the Colossus and Ico) Twilight Princess was actually directly inspired by Shadow of the Colossus and Ico. Those 2 games were master pieces that inspired a lot of well known titles such as this, journey, Halo 4 and The Last of Us to name a few :)

It took me fifteen years to notice Yeti wears a saddle on his head.
I never understand why people call it Lake HILL-ia, if it's Hyrule like HIGH- Rule, then why wouldn't it be HIGH-lia?
Actually, some people (Arin and Dan included, even if not in this playthrough) pronounce Hylia as HIGH-lia for that reason.
But, as someone who started out pronouncing Hylia as HILL-ia, I think it just rolls off the tongue better. And I think I'm more used to a short "i" sound coming from a "y" when it comes before an "L", such as in the name, "Sylvia". But when an "r" comes after the "y", it sounds better with the long "i" sound.
And even though it may have been retconned that Hyrule may have been named after the goddess, Hylia, that doesn't necessarily mean that they will have similar pronunciations. But, given that it is a proper noun, you may have more of a case for them to be similar.

There are so many times were Arin could lock onto a target instead of aiming manually and spare himself a world of bullshit. But he just chooses not to.
I’ve never been able to understand Arin’s gripe towards Z targeting. He’s explained plenty of times, but it still makes zero sense to just omit a function like that. It’s a major reason why I can’t take his criticism on modern Zelda seriously, as he actively makes the game harder for himself and then blames the game!
Because if he did he wouldn't be able to complain about Z targeting, invalidating his entire Zelda Sequelitis, which has already been thoroughly debunked thanks to everyone actually watching him play OoT

There is also the consideration that they may have lived in the realm of twilight for so long that they have adapted to and become dependent upon the reduced light, and special conditions, of the twilight realm. Still, I think they should've come back.
Also, Link definitely collected all those tiny shattered fragments off of the ground, Monsters Inc. style.
I hope we get a sassed filled edit on the level of this for their Tears of the Kingdom playthrough.

In the Grumps' defense, I have never done the Sacred Grove Statues puzzle without a walkthrough, and I'm usually pretty good at Zelda games.

I love how Arin's immediately tilted when they start and he slowly gains a deep hatred of being a wolf. No wonder they never actually played Okami.
