    None of the warning sensors are on the stock ECU or engine harness. They all come off of the body harness (Alternator, Low coolant level, hood latch, etc) the only things off of the engine harness that connect that you can cut out and keep is the OEM coolant temp sensor, which is one wire, the windshield wiper, and the boost sensor that goes to the cluster.

      Thanks, I was most hoping for coolant temp, which I knew was on the engine harness. Any idea if I can piggy back the signal?

      @@MohrGarage Like split the connection?

      I was thinking to send an output from the haltech to the boost gauge and coolant temp gauge on the stock cluster

    Wouldn't the fuse and relay in the included box be enough for the fuelpump?

    • @MohrGarage
      @MohrGarage  3 года назад

      For a stock application yes. However it doesn't supply enough voltage and it's best to run 10 gauge wire to the pump.

      @@MohrGarage Ah I see. I'm doing the same ECU kit (1000 model) with the premium wire kit. Learning as I go. Might be a good idea to replace the old wire that's in the car right now then. Got a 91 S5 but the wires were a hackjob so I said f it and replaced it with the Haltech harness instead of going through previous owners mess. Been going through your vids and taking notes. Thanks for sharing

      I forgot to film the final fuel pump wiring set up. I'll include it later in another video. Stay tuned.
