- Franz Kafka is a literary marvel. Intertwining themes of existentialism, absurdity, and the alienation, Kafka also portrays unique characters that we all become naturally drawn to. For many, including myself, he remains an enigma and fascinating writer.
In today's video we're taking a thorough look at his life along with the ideas, themes, and motifs embedded in his works.

your mind seems real active
You do a great job in analyzing the different works of the author, also loved your series on Nietzsche. Please do more of such in depth analysis. It would be better if you could talk about each prominent work by different authors in detail.
Thank you for your hard work! 😊
Thank you for the kind words! I plan to do this with more authors but it will just take me time to read their works deeply and plan the videos out. I'll work at it!
Kafka’s works have always interested me, but I never really knew about his life story. Great vid!
Kafka has been on my list but I haven’t read him yet, great video, gave me a good insight about him.
Now’s your time to delve into his works!
Dr Sadler (Philosophy Professor) posted a video on Metamorphosis practically right after this lmao.
Dr Sadler is the man!
Have you read "investigations of a dog??"
I just got to know about it yesterday when I visited the book store. Thinking of starting the month with it
I have not read that!
The external facets ARE our lives. This is how the world has been moulded. Most people unknowingly accept this and build their mediocre lives around this.
Kafka is a writer for 20 year olds.
Why?
@@strawberryorange3755 Kafka wrote out of frustration that his life was wronged.
At the same time, he was conscious that he was the wrong part and maybe just enjoyed the writing.
