Just saying in case anyone doesn't know, bloodbound warriors are bugged and have like 50x more leech than intended, which allows them to be absolutely invincible as a defender as his leech applies to his own totem.Good luck!
There are some exceptions to this. If you get one of the huge turtles on their side your character needs to Fucus on getting rid of its totem. those thing are nasty.
As a casual player who isn't a crazy power gamer, the league mechanic is "a new item drops that you can trade for chaos orbs. Only cool people are allowed to use this resource."
Just chaos, I think this is the most profitable mechanic we've ever had. I really enjoyed it for the first 2 months too until real life got in the way. Thanks for watching!
You don't lose exp because the area is level 1 , and in PoE the amount of exp you lose on death is based on zone level . A high level character will not lose exp if he dies in act 1 , but will lose 5% exp if he dies in act 6 , for example.
You are correct on how the death penalty applies, however, your character does not die in the mechanic. Check /deaths before entering a match and after dying in one. Your death counter will have stayed the same. Also I think if the area level were 1, we would gain no xp because of the xp penalty around our level vs area. We do gain xp from the mechanic, It's not an amazing amount but it would be more than one would expect from a level one area. Also I thgink the area level may be dependant on rank. Thanks for watching and sharing!
I tried it once. Not a fan of these games to begin with and it sounds like an extremely annoying and time consuming experience. Think I'll just sell stacks of silver coins instead.
This was a league mechanic that really needed it's own tutorial. I worked a lot with some friends on discord to figure it all out. Thanks for watching and glad it helped!
I like the mechanic, its just that its incredibly long and feels like shooting yourself in the foot cause the tattoo and omen prices are mediocre at best
Agreed. Only managed to bumble my way through the first match. Being on console at the moment definitely doesn't help, but there's literally no instruction on what to do. Had to watch videos to even figure out that I could also destroy the totems. Can't wait to get back home so I can check this out on pc, the console interface sucks for trials
There is an item on one of the troops that prevents channelling from preventing respwan. I havn't seen this happen but I have used the item to snatch victory from jaws of defeat. Thanks for watching!
@Altek2k Let me rephraze. I have watched 4 of these videos now, from different creators. None of them say what the win condition is, nor how to achieve it. If they have, I apologize as I have missed it. Do you kill the enemy spawns? Do you destory the enemy totems? If so, how? Do you survive a time limit, etc etc etc. Thanks for the reply!
@jeremy3770 You win by having all enemy totems be destroyed. You can even win if your own totem is destroyed if your team's warriors manage to destroy the remaining enemy totems.
Played like 3 games since I only got 3 coins throughout all of Act 3 ffs. I just didn't know wtf was going on. Everything was re spawning. I didn't even know about the channeling totems until the 3rd game. Just awful. I can see why this league has been failing.
I'm really enjoying the league, I think it's my favorite in ages. Once you get to maps you drop one or two coins a map. It is really profitable at present if you can win the tournaments.
Well this might explain why I hated this league and gave up to wait for the next one. I would go into Ancestor fights but never had more than three people to place down on the field. Couldn't figure out how to get more, thinking I must just have to win battles. Also, on a side note, I have no idea what an autobattler is. O.o
A lot of people struggled with the complexity of this league and that fact it gave you no hint of what to do, so you are certainly not alone. Autobattlers are typically where you cintruct a team and it auto fights against a components team to see who wins. Thanks for watching and I hope you like affliction better!
This was not useful at all but I actually don't think it's your fault I think this game just sucks I've never been successful at any of these League mechanics ever and yeah.
They go with the approach of let the players figure it out with a lot of this stuff and in some cases it's so cryptic. This one was especially complex. As a creator I try to focus on the key takeaways I experienced because creating concise and to point info which is always my goal can be challenging. That means that I don't go over every step because then they would be 30 mins long and I personally just don't have time to watch those. If you have any questions just shout always happy to help. Thanks for watching!
I've never played a worse league. No explanation of what is going on, I have no idea what's even happening, just chaos and then I lose the match. I have no idea what an "auto battler" is. Is that some kind of genre I need to ber familiar with to play this league? Even after watching this video, none of this makes any sense to me and I've been playing PoE for years. Maybe I'm just getting too old too keep up with all this shit.
You don't need to know about autobattlers to play. You are spot on, this league mechanic is not intuitive, but oncew you have played a few you start to get the hang of it.. The idea is to strategically place your units on your side to defeat the enemy, which is really all an auto batteler is and then let it play out. While your character helps. Thanks for watching!
Flask charges are now fully refilled at the end of a battle and Nivali grants double reward on your first Loss.
Not having to watch a 40min unedited video of a guy who has been playing for 2 days straight is great! thx man
No problem, glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
By far the most useful video I've seen on this stuff, thank you.
That;s very kind of you to say. Thanks for watching!
Finally a video that explains thing. EVERY other top video is so vague about it or show late game gampley and not early
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
The first video that actually explained the basics of the mechanic. Thank you.
Glad it helped - Thanks for watching!
Im so glad diablo 4 brought me to path of exile 😂
Glad you're liking it! Thanks for watching!
Same 😂

Dam... this one is usefull guide... i watched like 2 more and didint understad shi*t, respect for vis one... deserve like and falow :D
Glad you found it useful, thanks for watching!

Thanks for the tip and for watching, I had noticed that these were a little broken!
I have not tried it yet but i plan to soon. Thank you for the guide
You probably picked the best time. They buffed the rewards, I made about a divine in chaos and a straight divine. Thanks for the support as always.
Thank you.. just started winning with your advise to prioritize flankers
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching!
@@Altek2k and tournament won! Playing defence with your character, and focusing on flankers is the winning formula.
There are some exceptions to this. If you get one of the huge turtles on their side your character needs to Fucus on getting rid of its totem. those thing are nasty.

Why do i buy upgrades & allies but then they disappear when someone on enemy team approves of performance ???
I'm not sure I follow?
That 5 second stun feels like 500 seconds 😭 Thank you! Great video (:
Any plans on doing a Sanctum video too?
It does! If it drastically different to my existing video on sanctum, I will make an updated one. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the support!
@@Altek2k I know they updated stuff from it in the patch notes so I know it's different. I don't know what the differences are though 😬

I use Wall guys as flankers. feels pretty good at 200-250 rank
I havn't played much with the walls. Need to take a look at that. Thanks for sharing and watching!
Tried this out, felt very nice. Thank you for sharing
I tried it once. Not a fan of these games to begin with and it sounds like an extremely annoying and time consuming experience. Think I'll just sell stacks of silver coins instead.
If your character is strong you should do it fairly quickly. The rewards are also much better now. I've had 3 divs of it in last 2 days.
Thanks a bunch! I feel dumb xD I wasn't spending favor and was like "why is this game so fking hard??"
This was a league mechanic that really needed it's own tutorial. I worked a lot with some friends on discord to figure it all out. Thanks for watching and glad it helped!
I dont have Kaom or Kitava in the hall, cant spend their favor with them.. Why could that be?
For Kitava favour you want Utula. Both him and Kaom should be on the right hand side. I've never not seen them there.
I like the mechanic, its just that its incredibly long and feels like shooting yourself in the foot cause the tattoo and omen prices are mediocre at best
It takes me about 20 minutes for a full tournament for me at the moment. I'm so hooked on it... Thanks for watching!
Not enjoying the mechanic, won the first match, seemed easy. Now I get destroyed and it's a pain, our team is a wet noodle swords
I got to 380 ish rand and I spend half my time on the floor dead now :) My team pick has become much more important as a result! Thanks for watching!

I feel far from the strongest unit on my team at rank 200
It does ramp up quite a bit. I spend quite a bit of time on the floor since 520 ish. Thanks for watching!
How do you win?
Key is to manage your favour swell your ranks to full and then upgrade. More expensive = Better in general.
