Up to what hight can this seat be used? My eight year old daughter is almost 150 cm and definitely still needs side protection and a good head rest for travels. However, since there is no legal obligation for seats in Germany when being 151 cm or taller, she's almost outgrown all the car seats that are available in our country. There are seats, of course for children with disabilities, but they only start at about 2.000 $ and only come with harnesses which are too constricting at her age, imo. Any suggestions for a good seat? Thanks!
Hello! The One4Life in Canada can accommodate: Rear-facing Harnessed: 5 - 50 lbs and up to 49" tall Forward-facing Harnessed: 22 - 65 lbs and up 49" tall Belt Positioning Booster: 40 - 120 lbs and up to 63" tall You might also be interested in a Harness to Booster seat for your daughter - Britax has a great one called the Grow With You ClickTight Harness to Booster Seat - we have a full demo of it here ruclips.net/video/tSC6RcLmBq8/видео.html ! This seat is great for an older child who is on-the-verge but not quite ready for a booster seat. It starts in harnessed mode then can convert to booster when ready.
Yes :) the One4Life does have UAS latches that will attach to the anchor hooks in the bottom of the seat - we just find that they have mastered the clicktight install with the seatbelt and it is a much easier install!
This is a great question! In Canada all One4Life car seats come with an anti-rebound bar and it is mandatory to be used rear facing. If there's was missing from the box, contact Britax customer service for a replacement. www.britax.ca/contact-us The US does not have this requirement though you may still wish to reach out to Britax Customer Support for more information.
I'm confused. Forward facing using the harness is up to 65lbs and/or the child's height of 49"? So if they get to 49" tall then you stop using the harness and use the seatbelt aka booster mode? I guess cause we're at 45" and 44lbs I'm not mentally ready for booster and hoping I'm not misunderstanding lol.
Hi Stephanie! How old is your little one? Yes, that info is correct. Once they hit the height limit OR weight -- whichever comes first. Rear-facing Harnessed: 5 - 50 lbs and up to 49" tall Forward-facing Harnessed: 22 - 65 lbs and up 49" tall Belt Positioning Booster: 40 - 120 lbs and up to 63" tall
I’m having this issue right now. We are 48 1/2 inches and he’s 58 pounds and 6 and I just don’t like the idea of a belt 😖 and all the convertible car seats I see say switch to belt after 49in. It’s not just this car seat. I’m more drawn to this one tho because it has a top tether in high back booster mode
Here in the US, we dont get the anti-rebound bar with the seat. We have to fork over an extra 60 bucks to get it. Also, why is the harness so dificult to pull tight?
Canada has one of the most extensive and strict testings on car seats so an anti-rebound bar is almost mandatory, but the harness shouldn't be very difficult to pull, just make sure you are not over tightening I know sometimes that can happen :)
Kindof :) we recommend extending the harness as large as it can go and hang them/slide them over the sides of the seat so that they are not in the way when putting your little one in
Love it!!!!
So do we! It's a great option.

What about the anchor hooks in the car?? Are there straps/buckles for that as well?

Hi I have this car seat but it did NOT come with the antibrebound bar! Im using it rear facing -- is it safe?? Help!!
Only some of the O4L models come with the bar, if yours didn’t it’s fine!

Can carseat be reclined while installed or it needs to be uninstalled in order to recline it? Thank you!
The recline on this seat needs to be adjusted before the seat is installed. (Thank goodness the Clicktight installation makes it so easy!)

Is there a place to tuck the harness straps when putting the child in the seat to keep them out of the way?

The woman’s commentary makes this unwatchable
