    That would cool with a twist pattern, just to see the copper move around.

    I have several questions:
    Have i missed your wednesday-video?
    Have I missed your revelation of the winner of the Moku Megane?
    A few videos back chris said that we are going to see why martin was nervous during the making of said video, can we get an answer?
    A few more videos back, you used some kind of lubricant for handsanding! Im not speaking about Drinkingstuff, im speaking about stuff you sprayed on the workpiece!
    do you by any chance make a mixture of your EDCs and Kitchen knifes? I mean a kitchen knife the size of an EDC, and maybe a tactical one?
    sorry for the long post, here is a potato

    What’s up with that roller mill? Where did you come across that amazing piece of tooling???????????

  • @xxitz_pr0gxx631
    @xxitz_pr0gxx631 День назад

    I thought that when you go to quench the piece, that you are supposed to violently move the piece back and forwards in the oil because of the Leidenfrost effect??

    • @MartinHuber_Knives
      @MartinHuber_Knives  День назад

      Yeah if you want your piece crooked AF 😂
      For knives, who are already thin and cool down that fast its not really a big problem.
      Bigger Materials, like axes or similar it makes more sense for me.
      you got less warping when moving and also more mass that holds the heat longer.

    Dammit that's very very badass. That rolling mill is worth is weight in gold I'm assuming. What Rockwell do you get out of apex at 818 c? What was the darkening agent Coffee gator piss or something else? Oh and before I forget I love the Brut De Forge look as well. Thanks again as always,

      You can darken the blade after etching with Coffee too, but i personaly prefere Orange Juice
