If it's single player you can just use saveworld command
@@TheAwkwardNugget Reports say even that doesn't garuntee that it will actually save your progress. Which is why the Save Button has been entirely removed from the Xbox version.

If anyone could please help with some questions about how the mod system works as we're just getting back into ASA. And haven't kept up on mods. So are any of the premium maps transferable? Are any of the other ones usable on official pvp? I don't wanna pay then find out they are for unofficial or PvE. Any answers or explanations would be greatly appreciated!
They are mainly used on unofficial servers. However, Wildcard currently host multiple official servers with premium maps and mods. You can check on the servers list and find a suitable server before making any purchases. 😊

@nachoboy3503 game really doesn't have any major issues lol the only thing I could image you bringing up at this point is servers which has largely been fixed and it's probably your wifi
@PooPooThe3rd right, because the native frame gen on Nvidia 40 series works REALLY well and doesnt crash.
There's also the patch notes that are constantly fixing major bugs/crashes/exploits.

@nachoboy3503 well in all fairness I have a 30 series card so I have no access to frame gen. Also new bugs are always going to arrive when adding new content to a game, and alot of other crashes can he due to the actual mods downloaded and not the base game
A mod that runs a basic command to fix the fog, that they put in the game is a highlight...

It is technically in there via console command. But you may not like it. Looked pretty fuzzy to me on my little rx6600 so I ended up turning it off.

That's what the most recent update, which was supposed to be released separately but got wrapped up with the premium mods on Xbox, did. The crashing issue was related to mods gettin' a wee bit funky as a result of sumn that got busted in the official Cerato/Xiph update.

Its a common occurrence but sometimes mods may be the reason if your playing singleplayer or hosting a dedicated server download an autosave mod and you wont have to worry about losing progress. Ase crashed back then as well but from when i first played asa it seem to slowely getting less crashes. For me at least.

Very excited for (potentially) better quality mods, but I am worried because there are free mods that already break the game when they're installed. Paying for something that may break the game or make it more unstable than it already is sometimes will suck.
Premium mods are substantially more developed and scanned by Curseforge. The developers have support of Curseforge in resolving any issues, so you can be sure they will be more stable than normal mods 👍

They're definitely optimizing, just recently the texture quality was dropped across the board. But they're also probably waiting for technology to catch up and become cheaper

If you want to improve the game yes
The only ones I would recommend would be Svartelheim(Fjordur like map) and the Anomolocaris(dino made by the same guy who made the Acro).
Every other one I wouldn’t really bother with honestly in my opinion
@@SparkyFerretBoy That's your opinion! Our potions mod is by far the most expansive & the only one that allows global settings via an admin UI. The trailer doesn't do much to show, but there are some gems in the premium programme :)
You don't need it but it's always good to have options especially if you wish to support the devs who have put a lot of work into all of these free mods for players to enjoy.

1.bad wifi servers are fine
2.payed mods aren't on console yet because they have to make a contract with pc and xbox to allow them to let users pay for those premium mods through thier store
