There have been really big men that try to wrestle them(bears raised in captivity) off their feet. I've never heard of anyone being able to do it. Hell, they can hardly wrestle each other off their feet. A human has no chance.

@anthonydavis9382 Yup, just about, the fastest grizzlies have been clocked at in Yellowstone is 27-28 mph... but the truly terrifying part for us is that while the average human can only run 10-15mph for short distances, we can't keep that up for very long without slowing significantly (unless we are talking about top athlete, tho even the fastest human would be quickly overtaken by the bear) while a grizzly can do thst speed for up to 2 MILES STRAIGHT 😬

Their senses of taste and smell are so strong the bear is literally trying to taste the scent (the hunter obviously baited the area with) that's why it's teeth are clacking together.
As an Aussie I find it strange that we get the wrap for most terrifying animals. I’ve been up close to crocodiles, brown snakes you name it but I could never imagine something so terrifying in the wild as this.. apart from magpies in spring time

I realize that sometimes the colors are different as grizzlies can be from a blonde-ish to almost black but generally speaking species wise, black bears you want to fight back, grizzlies you lay down play dead in fetal position and polar bear is just gonna eat you no matter what

Mirror Test.

Something that has happened to me when I was just a kid. Home alone watching a movie and having my arm curved around the top of my head with my hand free. We have bears in our yard occasionally and the speed is astonishing when they are in "go mode" I've seen them running full speed then go straight up a tree without breaking stride.

I'm sitting here watching this video repeat itself 15 times over again cuz this is freaking amazing. We have black bears in our property, never do we see them aggressive like this. His fast and fancy footwork is mesmerizing.
