- How cool was this?!! I Got the opportunity to test a 900 horsepower Sprint car. I couldn't believe the acceleration and how quick they can go around the corners. The thing I found most difficult was how physical they were and the speed / vibration for my eyes. I hope you all enjoy the video.

I've been extremely fortunate to have driven a Formula Holden, V8 Supercar, Indylights Car and Formula One car and had a 5 x lap run in a sprintcar about 8 years ago and fark me!! What an awesome 5 laps experience that was. Unbelievably awesome machines and the sport is seriously in major need of mainstream media attention. 100+ cars each year attend the Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic and its without doubt the best racing you'll see all year at the mighty BOOL speedway and doesn't get any media attention at all!

Im 36 years old and started racing 2 years ago with no prior experience. When I first fired up my sprint car, I thought I was setting track record. When I came off the track, my brother said so you go faster now that you’re comfortable 😂 took me about a season to not tire out in a 30 lap a main. It’s an animal
I couldn’t believe how physical it was hahaha. Great experience though. They are so fast it’s crazy.
It sure is different in a crowd......tons of fun though...
Great clip, the amount of work you were putting into the turns was incredible. A 30 lap race in a sprintcar would be exhausting. Cheers

Awesome to see another V8 Supercar driver having a go in a Sprintcar. It'd be good to see you go around Toowoomba Speedway. I've seen Brodie and Cam go around and they were pretty respectable considering the time they've had to get their head around a Sprintcar.
Hopefully I can have a run at Toowoomba later on in the year. Was great to get a test day though.

My mates that race Sprintcars have always said you wear a Sprintcars in regards to how tight your jammed into cockpit 👍 glad you enjoyed it. 🤟
Yeah it’s crazy tight inside those things.
You were picking up that art very quick.
I noticed right off in the second session you were going faster but your hands moved considerably less and slower, and of course that is a good thing.
