This 1991 Chevrolet Corvette Callaway Coupe is now proudly offered for sale by Cars Remember When Auto Sales. This vehicle was modified by Callaway Engineering in Connecticut with the B2K Callaway Twin Turbo package and AeroBody equipment. The plaque on the dash shows this is car number 002 out of total production of 62 for 1991 and currently showing 7,989 original miles. It is powered by a Callaway twin-turbocharged 5.7-liter L98 V8 mated to a 6-speed manual transmission making 403 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque. Chevrolet options include dual removable roof panels, air conditioning, a Delco/Bose stereo, selective ride and handling, dual adjustable sport seats, and an engine oil cooler.
The car is finished in Corvette Black paint and is equipped with the Callaway AeroBody kit, which specified a revised nose, front grille, hood scoops, tail panel, rear bumper, and fender, quarter panel vents, and special Callaway wheels. It is complete with its Callaway window sticker showing an MSRP of $84,899 in 1991 and a letter of authenticity.
