Jordan and Caden give great examples. Comparing a vid of yourself to what they are doing…that can be hugely valuable. Key points: they dont always mention this explicitly, but look: is their weight on heels or toes. How much can you mimic their paddle angle and follow through without wiggles or flaps? Is your backswing on drives or drops as short like theirs? Efficient strokes and minimal follow through for volleys means you can be back to be ready for the next shot!! There is a HUGE amount of good advice in this video. Drill and Improve!!
This video is one of your best yet! Really good content that if followed is guaranteed to elevate my game. Thanks Jordan and Caden for being clear and concise.
Another great video, thanks! I have the habit of big swings and wrist flip , I will try to minimize those today! I have a little bit wrist pain. I only play every other day for about a month. Is it because of some bad form?e.g. should I hold paddle more firmly when contact?
1. A cannon shot one hand backhand. 2. Drop volley 3. A serve that generates free points 4 a nasty low flying slice return 5 inside out forehand down the line.
Hi Jordan and Caden! Thanks for another helpful video. I would love to see some content on the mental game. I feel like I hit like a 4.0 in drills and warmups but play like a 3.0 in matches. Know what I mean? I get tight, then frustrated, then make poor decisions. Maybe this is part of the developmental progression, but I think my mind is keeping me stuck.
Return shot. I thought I was returning deep, but once I focused on my shot. I realized I wasn't. I believe it was because I wasn't hitting the ball far enough in front of me.
I've seen other videos about 3rd shot drop that say to hit it from your right knee; iow, hit it with an open stance. In your video, you use a closed stance. Is that just a matter of preference? Position and light grip are most important, right?
I'm struggling with consistency in my game...holy crap it's his opening line this video better be for me. I need to wreck some guys in the DUPR group tonight.
You are wrong if you think the content is boring. Dig deep and you will find the ‘Value’ of this video. I, on the contrary, think the content is well organized, structured and delivered. Appreciate you guys🙏
Which shot do YOU struggle with???

Outstanding tip on creating space for the 3rd. As I get better at my 3rds, the more committed I am at using them in my game.

I resonate with you. Warm up is great then once the match start a light switch flip and I play with many errors.

Caden, you need to learn a decisive deep slice return.
Caden can easily slice the ball lol
The lob is always in my arsenal.
