I’ve had this for over 2 years and have had it treated twice with silver nitrate. The first treatment didn’t last long and I had breakthrough bleeding after roughly four months. The second treatment I had was just over a month ago and so far I’ve only had one episode of bleeding. When my GP examined me both times she said my cercix looked very red.
I just wondered if anyone with this experiences a sharp cervix pain from time to time, it feels like a pinching pain and stops me in my tracks (moving or walking), just for a moment. It’s so uncomfortable and it reminds me of a similar pain I’ve had during my pregnancies.

Did the treatment hurt? When my doctor suggested cauterizing it, I shuddered at the idea.

Cool. My ectropion covers my whole cervix, doctors have never seen such a thing. So i have to coagulate it and i am so scared. Mine might be under anesthesia because i have severe pain during pap smears. I have endometriosis so i am wondering if my ectropion is related. Endo is caused by excess estrogen also.

I have endometriosis as well and was wondering the same. The thing is the birth control pills regulated my endometriosis symptoms but were not good for my ectropion since they are estrogen, I'm currently going off the pill to see if my ectropion gets better.

You know you are a demi god in my eyes. I listened to your audiobooks this morning for 2 hours, I'm training for the London marathon! However, can i be a complete pedant? You mention Dyspareunia at 2:37 but you've spelt it as dysparenunia. There may infact be two ways of spelling it which I'm not aware of so please excuse me. (don't hate me!)

How does the cervix behave in birth and delivery after cauterization? Since the tissue of the cervix is supposed to dilate up to 10 centimeters.
I see this has not been addressed here as a pro or con.

Hiii, m pregnant. Got bleeding in 19 week at 5.53 pm. I was scared. But then no bleeding. But Rushed to hospital. Doctor said it is cervical erosion but baby is fine. They washed my vagina and give antibiotics. Also said there is infection in vagina. Pill prescribed to insert in vagina. Kindly answer, is it normal?
I had no itching, white or gray discharge, no pain etc any time, why cervical erosion happened?
