It would have been funny if the scene where the termagants are too afraid to charge forward, they were fighting guardsmen who were also too afraid to move forward. So it ends up being a commissar and the tyranid warrior seeing who can yell harder at their troops to get them to move.
Space Marines are rare, if a guardsman sees one he has a story for the rest of his life. But imagen being a Guardsman that sees an Custodes. If you tell the story everyone will just call you a liar. If they see a grey knight, well better hope there's a Space Wolf in the area.

I adore how the tyranids, relentless, merciless, ever hungry and ready to end all life in relaity, in not just our galaxy but all of them, legitimately felt fear when the Marines appeared. The realization that there are creatures in the Galaxy just as ruthless as them, just as vicious and just as deadly.

Titus chains his sword to his arm which is a practice held by the Black Templars who alongside the Inquisitor, brought him away at the end of first game. This means he spent a decent amount of time with the Black Templars most likely before returning to his chapter. This means that Titus was with them long enough to grow a deep respect for them, thus carrying their culture into battle. The Black Templars and Titus fundamentally are similar. Both don’t hold themselves strictly to the codex, with Titus explaining to Leandros that it’s more of a guideline and everything the Templars have ever done. The Templars would also enjoy how Titus took down a whole WAAAAGH of Orks and slew a Daemon Prince so they’d give him some sort of preferable treatment.

It's pretty cool that they can show that he has spent a good bit of time with them simply by adding that one small detail. But correct me if I'm wrong, I thought the Black Templars, specifically Sigismund, picked up the habit of chaining their weapons to their arms from the World Eaters.
@@Coyotebriggs well the original devs had planned for 3 games following a sequential story line. I am not sure if this is the case because the old devs went bankrupt but possibly these chains may indicate that which would be pretty cool.
I love how the enemy didn’t want the smoke until they were ordered to fight. Imagine being the survivors and just watching the mere presence of the space marines instill fear into your enemies

This is awesome! I really hope Space Marine 2 has some proper co-op and not the DLC The Last Stand that no one ever played much less paid for with terrible peer to peer matchmaking. I just wanna wam bam slam some nids with friends for realz!

Yes :D But this very short scene of the guadman's desperation is constructed soooo well. Look at his facial expression, his posture, and his speech. In this few opening seconds you see in this guardman expressions the many days of brutal combat he has faced. In the background his unit is overwhelmed or being ripped apart, and he calls out on the vox desperately for assistance as he knows they will all die if no help is received. Its only about 10 second long but so well done imho and a great setup for the blueberries to enter the next sequence
hmmm I think we will be fine tbh cause GW keep a tight hold on what creators can do with their IP. Also they will never let anything negative near their poster boys of 40K ... the space marines
