Kinda long but two tips for the dash that have helped and made my combos more enjoyable. 1: Chasing- When you launch an opponent and chase with the hyper dash with no attack inputs it stops short of the opponent unlike the regular dash that goes all the way(unless your charging a heavy in which they act the same). When the hyper dash stops theyre still flying from the knock back and you can go into whatever action you want(super/ult/z burst dash). Its helped throw off timing for vanishes as well as gives less travel time for the new slower unblockable ult speeds 2: Engaging- When using the hyper dash from a distance toward your oponnent you can maneuver your character for dodging or style purposes, with this once your close to the opponent, characters that have step backs for supers or ults can either make it difficult to notice the step back because it can be done to the sides from the hyper dash as well, and in some cases, eliminate the step back all together. This change in the step back with the hyper dash can also be done with chasing. Its helped mostly with perception spammers. They assume your dashing to them to rush attack or charge a heavy and they hold perception, only for you to activate a super in their face while theyre stuck in the pose. Bonus: characters who gain special R1( or whatever your block is) movement when in sparking(Gogeta from super for example) can use the hyper dash and go into the special movement to really mix things up
Good video, ive been experimenting with it too. The timing to cancel is crucial but also using the basic zdash and controlling it is efficient as well! The Dons Meta Manual is coming together!!!
Been peeping we just gotta use this dash more to like creep inside rather than that split instant get behind opponents like the typical dash we use to. People tryna will the passive play into the new norm when really we got a new homing missile we can learn to utilize to keep that pressure on our opponents
Good stuff bro. I knew you'd make it work. Ive been closing the distance. It isnt the old Z dash but we make it work, matches feel much fast when you use the dash that way.
@@doncooli0maaaaan I'm glad that you actually know how to melee and approach and get to the fight you don't always zone my question is like is it still fun for you people claiming that adapting to the game isnt fun Because play styles are too passive ( I stay offline and play custom battles they actually made the difficulty of the AI harder so I have no longer the energy or the reasons to hop online other than the world library)
You can also flick L3 into the opposite direction of where you are going to stop. Also, it stops dashing automatically once you get to the enemy or hit a barrier.
@ShinyMoshi When you are far away and trigger the new dash it doesnt seem to work. Only at close or medium range with normal dash. Let me know if im wrong though.

Ian know that
W detail, that makes things a lot more simple because clicking X again (if you're on Playstation) can be tricky with the shotty inputs this game has.

@@doncooli0 Just figured out you can also just press x without moving L3 in any direction to stop. This is better than flicking L3.
@ ima try it out
Thank you
Np
Every time I do it it looks like the regular speed dash I still be using z burst dash my ki management is pretty good
U holding X while u do it?
🐉
Yo can cancel to guard to
You can cancel the mechanic into a guard? How is there a clip where i can see it?

Ive used it pretty effectively to keep pressure after a lightning attack
