    You could use a little heat gut and shrink the remaining puff a bit inside, so that it does not stick out so much, if you happened to have only a mismatched foam. I remember watching this in a tutorial probably by John Deer. - Tina

    Super helpful video! I’m using the SE600 with ink stitch for the design. I still can’t seem to get my design to come out properly even without puff foam. The lower bobbin thread color continues to comes through to the top. I’ve adjusted the tightest to try and help it from not coming up. But it still does a bit. Which settings do you typically use in params embroidery extension for a non puff/ or puffed design? Thanks in advance

    • @ProjectAnonymous_Duo
      @ProjectAnonymous_Duo  2 года назад +1

      It sounds like you may want to adjust (tighten) your bobbin tension vs your thread tension... We cover how to do this here: ruclips.net/video/WCwRGoDtcl8/видео.html As for setting changes in params, the only adjustment we make is to the "zig-zag spacing," the default for us is 0.3mm. For puff embroidery, we have good results with 0.2mm. Hope this helps!

      We used embroidery "Puffy Foam" by Sulky, www.amazon.com/Sulky-America-Color-Puffy-Assortment/dp/B001HVVYHE/ref=sr_1_3?crid=MF73LDMETFOE&dchild=1&keywords=puff+embroidery+foam&qid=1624551917&sprefix=puff+embroider%2Caps%2C335&sr=8-3

      I use some foam from Walmart. I stack two sheets on top of each other when tacking it down.

    can you show how to cut an trim the foam at the end clean it up

    • @ProjectAnonymous_Duo
      @ProjectAnonymous_Duo  2 года назад +1

      Hi! We briefly show trimming it in this video: ruclips.net/video/HX-yof0tHN8/видео.html at 11:00 We just peal the excess foam off of the embroidery, use our curved scissors to take of any chunks left, and lastly we go over the embroidery with a lighter carefully (you could also use a heat gun, which probably would be better). Perhaps in the future we could make a video about this in detail. Thanks for watching!

    Do you have underpath?? How long stitches i possible?

    • @ProjectAnonymous_Duo
      @ProjectAnonymous_Duo  8 месяцев назад +1

      No we didn't use an underpath, we just made sure the foam stayed in place as it stitches out. The longer the stitch the more chance you have for foam to show through or stitches to unravel. We aren't sure what the longest you can get without that happening, but we have read not to go over 7mm. Thanks for watching!

    SIR CAN I KNOW HOW TOSET TRIMMING BEFORE THE COLOUR CHANGING

    • @ProjectAnonymous_Duo
      @ProjectAnonymous_Duo  2 года назад

      Our Brother SE1900 will automatically trim prior to a color change (so there is no setting), However, if your machine supports it, you can add a "Trim" command by selecting the object you want a trim on, and go to Extensions>Inkstitch>Commands>Attach Commands to Selected Objects... Then click on "Trim thread after selected object." Hope this helps!

    Did you change the pull compensation? I tried adding foam and it didn't "puff"..

    • @ProjectAnonymous_Duo
      @ProjectAnonymous_Duo  Год назад

      Hi! We didn’t change the pull compensation (we left it at our default 0.1), but you can definitely tweak it to get the results you’re looking for. You can also try a thicker foam. Thanks for watching!
