I have some questions need your help to answer. Why does the native speaker usually speaker wrong way with syllable division in dictionary? For example: the word 'city', in Cambridge Dictionary write /ˈsɪt.i/ but native speaker always speak /ˈsɪ.ti/, they don't blend the /t/ sound in the first syllable, they speak /si/ instead /sit/ for the first syllable.
