In West Bengal it was 77.5% compared to 60% in overall India.
BJP cadres should do ground level hardwork in other states for increasing voter % like TMC cadres do in West Bengal carrying legacy of CPIM.
In Rajasthan only the voting % was low- 50% compared to 66% last time. So this may be disadvantageous. What are local leadership doing!!
In Bihar the voter turn out was 48%. Rajasthan was also lo. Basically. BJP stronghold voter turnout was low.

In West Bengal, even today democracy couldn't be exercised fairly. There were scattered live reports of violence even if the polling was at 3 constituencies. What will happen after! Especially from Coochbehar constituency where from 'Sitalkuchi' assembly seat a voter(who said from BJP) his eyes were thrashed by TMC mobs while coming to vote, on the same area with sharp weapon the mother of a BJP worker was hit critically and some booth riggings. And kidnapping polling agents from the same place again.
Voice must be raised over ECI for not being able to safeguard even voters and then polling agents and unable to conduct 100% free & fair voting, they should have strict laws & policies to ensure investigations and punishments over the slaughterers of democracy, ensuring booth & voter safety 100%, aids for injured one's & strict laws implementation to control poll rigging.
Save Democracy & Human Rights in dictatorial Bengal.
Booth rigging was from Siliguri. Maybe other place also. It should be cancelled wherever happened and rescheduled. And investigations should go on such mobs & other assaulters and punished strictly. And ECI should give money to affected and also penalty the guilty ones who did injuries.
More central force protection in booth inside & outside, must be ensured with street surveillance and special oversight into hotspot areas. Only by strict means and it's implementation democracy can be saved here.
No Bengal voted in huge numbers and it will hit Mamta Banerji.
Mamta Banerjee is afraid that if large number of people will vote then she might loose. That's why she is creating rukus in booths with the help of her goons. For now let's not panic because in a way this is good. Let me explain, BJP as a political party is definitely already aware of what happened today. There can be multiple factors, heat, first voters coming out in summers, overconfidence etc but now BJP will drive this even more on the ground. Our job is to keep them on their feet by pressurizing them across social media but not fall for the trap by anti BJP. Do comment on every possible X account, social media account of top BJP leaders, Jaipur Dialogues etc.
Man you are idolising a party do not make any politician as your idol in that state you will see everything they do as right and not think from a open mind whether the thing they has done is right or not always try to ask questions about the actions taken by these politicians rather than idolising them
It's 1st phase maybe they'll take lessons from it and rectify in the rest 6 phases.
Why are you all jumping about voter turnout. Today the revised voter turnout is 65.5%, just 4% less than 2019 first phase. On sunday the final percentage will come out. It will be more than 66%.

I am from Telangana but I am surprised AP is still vote based on caste more than Bihar, etc. And you have educated folks who are fanatics of local leaders and they expect everyone to be on their feet and dont think about Country.
Friends, in today's era (think why family rulers are needed ?? Why?? 2) If the restaurant bill used to be taxed at 13 to 28 percent, then Modi has reduced it to 5 percent. ,
3) In 2013, the interest rate on home loan (home loan) used to be 10.3% but was reduced to 8.65% when Modi came.
4) Internet service in Congress era 2013 Rs.250/- for 1GB-3GB data pack

BJP will increase its total vote and seat share drastically in these elections, UP, MP, Rajasthan, Chhatisgarh, Gujarat, Maharashtra will see a total wave towards BJP, the opposition parties may even remain in single digits. In the east, BJP will get between 10-20 seats this time in West Bengal. The North East will give a healthy contribution as well, especially Assam. Because Hindutva + Nationalism Fevicol is missing from the election.
Modi has sidelined Hindutva because of his craving for the validation of seculars, leftists and Islamists. Hindutva is what Unites Hindus towards BJP and Modi. Without Unity of Hindus.. it's hard for BJP to gain majority. Someone said it right "Only Modi can make Modi loose". It looks like Opposition's "Communal BJP" "Dictatorship" "Anti-Muslim" "Hindutva Bad" pressures have worked against Modi and Modi has changed.. Modi is not as strong as he used to be.. Modi used to be a lion that didn't care about opinion of sheeps but now Modi wants to look good among sheeps.

In some seats, it seems that BJP has broken confidence of Muslims and they are not voting in large numbers coz they know BJP is winning. This is clear from Udhampur-Kathua seat in JK. Muslim majority assembly seats have voted just 55-60% while Hindu majority assembly seats have voted 75%. Again this can't be extrapolated to whole of India
