Awesome indeed! Amazing craftsmanship, combined with a humorous and excellent video. I had to laugh several times. Sincere compliments for the entire production: the production of the shackles and the video!!! Thank you!
Did You made that bronze chain too? I agree with that some fantasy stuff are realy exciting to see come to life in real materials. It's fun that one sometime need to think slightly different when making movieprops compared to regular forging, i try to eliminte the visible hammerblows and stuff in that, but in a movie it sometime the opposite as You mentioned here, same thing with soun yarn and stuff, it often look much better if it's a bit owerdone course with lups and bulges on the picture, it's something i likee with that fantasy movie style, when it comes from the hands of a master, it do make a massive differense to see real metal compared to plastic or cloth on the picture, plastic and rubber will newer look that good in movies as replacement for metal, the weight in the real materials makes visible differense as well. Awsome work as always!
I've have the best luck when both pieces reach the same temperature at the same time. I you're working on small jewelry pieces it sometimes means you have to heat from the top and bottom at the same time with two torches. On larger pieces you can switch back and forth. You need a bit of flux. I buy a white paste type that dries out over time. I mix water into the flux so that it is slightly more liquid than toothpaste. Also I am not using silver bearing solder from the hardware store. This is "Silver" solder from a welding supplier and has a high percentage of silver in it. The one I used in this video is: Harris Safety-Silv solder 45: CAD:$67 for a small package
Amazing work! It's always nice to see some forging happening. Also love how musical your grinder gets at 9:25
I just found this and wow, this is awesome. And also for my favorite show! Great work
Thanks!

I would like to get them. They're great
awesome
This is a very nice build, I saw them in the show but presumed that they were just injection cast rubber, I am very glad to be wrong.
Is there a video clip or episode number I can look for them?
I'd love to see them in "action"
in which season and which episode was this shown
Awesome video, love the work. Is this for season 3? I hear the production just moved to LA from Canada.
How did you silver solder steel? I've never had success! Awesome videos as always

Drawbridge Props & Armoury thanks for the tips! I shall have to experiment some more
Can you say who these were made for? They look rather like the restraints used in “Lucifer” for Lucifer’s “mom”.
Yes they were made for Lucifer:)
Drawbridge Props & Armoury far out....I have a good eye for “toys”.
