I think that when they gave Yasuo and Yone LMB v2, it was more of a buff since normal lmb m1 full combo cooldown was longer then the LMB v2 cooldown, the biggest nerf was probably the Q and R moves not stunning.
Edit: most yasou and yone combos use the full LMB combo

Only if you had 2 charges before the combo it'll be like this:
-V -1 charge
-R +1 charge
So at this point you have 2 charges so you can extend with Q
