Wow. Last night I watched "10 Recommended Planner Products for Beginners" because I wanted some inspiration for a ringed binder I was gifted. I used to only think of planners as a date book, so you have opened a whole new way to store or display my pictures and use up some of my pattern paper stash! Thank you Annette, you have a beautiful eye and wonderful talent for putting lovely things together. I get overwhelmed with all my options sometimes and I get undecisive. I feel like I should make another go at it. ☺
How nice! I hope you do give another go at it because it's so rewarding and fulfilling to document your life this way. The format is small and do-able, and very enjoyable using ECD dies. I have a more updated video than that one, also good for beginners if you want to check that out. And if you need more inspiration, I made a planner page video every week in 2024 on my channel and created a playlist for that. I continue to make pages every week, then make a video at the end of each month. I have a wonderful Facebook group called "Weekly Memory Keeping with Annette" filled with people from all over, at all different skill levels, and we all post our photos of our pages, and share great ideas and inspiration. Feel free to put a request in to join us and I'll gladly accept you!
Your Planners all turned out great, Annette!!! I am anxious to see your next Planners, and hope you plan to do a tutorial - I love how your designs all come together - thank you for sharing these!!!
Saved this video to watch again when I have more time to see if I can resize my photos...I'm using PSE19. Your planners look fabulous Annette. I'm also looking forward to the new page die and another DDBD class (woo-hoo!). I'm behind, but will catch up well before you start the next one - LOL!
Hi Cindy. Feel free to message me if you get stuck when resizing your photos. Happy to help. Thanks for watching, again, and good luck to you in your planner making.
Thanks Annie. I haven't technically done a walk-through, but I have posted most of my completed pages on Facebook. I see we're FB friends, so you can find them there. 😊
Great video, Annette. I always have the best of intentions to get my journal done, but then it goes by the wayside. Now, we're into a new year and I haven't finished last years! I have a program for my Mac that will print several different sizes. Usually use the 3x3 size for journals and my kitty's journal. Just need to focus and get it done. I have lots of journals, but still haven't figured out what to use them for. I just like making them! Silly, I know! Wishing you a very Happy New Year to you and your family!
Hi Carole. Thank you! I find that if I don't carve out time, like physically schedule it in my datebook to work/play in my planner, then it likely isn't ever going to get done. I am following my own advice and doing it this way from now on. You can too! And as for journals and albums that you haven't done anything with, JOIN THE CLUB! It's not silly, it's fun. Happy New Year to you too. Thanks.
Thanks so much for the photo sizing demo. I use a Canon Selphy, but also have a Canon Pixma that I can send larger photo sheets thru. Will give it a try with photoshop express. Love your journals!
Happy New Year Annette!🥳🥂I love your planners, they are always really put together. I have been looking out for the retreat in Banff, Canada this year, October / November but I haven’t seen where I can sign up. Where should I watch for it?
Hi Pam and Happy New Year to you as well. Thank you. I believe Els is still firming up the registration details, but you can find the info here from me once it's available. I will definitely do an immediate post at that time. Also on my blog and social media. I'm excited you're interested!
Hi Annete, how are you? I wanted to ask a question. Are the dies compatible with all types of diaries or are there dies of different sizes depending on the size of the diary? Thank you
Hi! thanks for your question. Elizabeth Craft Designs carries two size planners (diaries). One is the regular planner and the other is called the Sidekick planner. You can view their website to see the exactly size details at ecraftdesigns.com The dies are also sold as either Planner dies or Sidekick dies. You can interchange the elements in those sets, just not the actual "page" dies because of the size difference. I hope that helps, but if not, just let me know.
Curious question why 300 pixels per inch? I just got a Selphy printer and didn't have time to figure a lot about sizing photos since I was trying to finish the DDBD book to enter for the drawing over at ECD. I made it work and got stuff printed but I am trying to learn more about the whole thing now that I am not in a rush.

How do you print From PSE? You skipped that part and I am a newbie. Thanks.

Hi Annette. Never mind.. I just ran into a description about this. Thanks for your tips.
