This planner will be fabulous, Annette - your pages have such great memories already - I LOVE how you used the scissors for a closure - great idea!! Thank you for your time and talent - I really enjoy your videos and ideas!!
Love this whole series, Annette. This week's layout was so good. Love the scissors fastener!! So clever. I would love to see a tour of your craft room and how you store your plethora of dies:)
Thank you Marie! I'm so happy you enjoyed it. I'll do a little tour of the craftroom in the Live and you can also find my downsizing part 2 video for a full tour, and then be sure to check out my 2 vlogs on my channel as well, as they show some of my newest updates to the craftroom since the downsizing part 2 video.
I always love your videos, Annette! My son bought me a battery pack for Christmas from Amazon that works perfectly for the Selphy CP1300. The one he bought came with 2 batteries & the charger. It's perfect if you're not near an outlet.
Great seeing you work on the planner again. I’d also like to see you work on the Selphy printer. I’ve been toying with buying one. And I’d love to see how you organize and store your ECD die sets. It’s a struggle sometimes. Thanks. ❤
Awesome week 3 spread. I absolutely love the tiny scissors. The brad looks perfect in that spot. I'm very interested in the selfy printer. Thank you Annette for another very enjoyable video
Very nice. You are great at explaining everything. And I really enjoyed your videos. I lrean something new nearly every time I watch you. Thank for all your information 🙏
im new in planning and i really didnt know how to start. i found you today and i'm al ready ferry happy. now i have a Idea how i can start. im gonna look more video's to get more inspiration. sorrie if my englise is terrible i come from holland netherlands
The inspiration I get from your videos is awesome. And thanks to one of your previous videos about the selphy printer I got one as a present and I love using it. You are awesome.📽🎞
Oh that's awesome! That little Selphy is impressive, isn't it? It exceeded my expectations! Thanks for your super kind words. I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos.
I love your page! It al comes together so nice. My question for the live would be: how do you decide to use which dies and stamps etcetera you want for the page? There are so many products to choose from. I have trouble to start with the “blanc”page. So how do you start the process of beginning a page? I hope this makes sense. Love to hear your answer on the live soon! Thanks 😊
Such an excellent question Tamara that I think a lot of people want answered. I've added it my list of things to answer in the Live. Coming soon! Thanks.
Awesome, Carla! Thanks so much. I think you can tell by my own reaction that I really liked it too, and especially liked that it worked out just as I had hoped.
Loving this series Annette!! Thank you. And those little scissors.....fantastic! you make it all look so easy. I know a picture can tell a great story, but how do you get your journaling done on those small cards? I always seem to have a longer story that what will fit on them. Love the journaling cards but when you use it, what do you do if you run out of room for the details and it's already part of layout?
I have trouble with my selphie printer and would love some tips for getting the images sized. A lot of times, some of the images are cropped off when I go to print. Thank you and love your journal pages!!
Thank you so much! Yes, the Selphy can be a little confusing, but I have it figured out now and will be happy to share all that in the Week 4 video. We won't even wait for the Live for that one. 😉
Great engineering for the scissors. I will be happy to hear and watch next week. I would like to know: what is your favorite mixed media technique? I know you made a major downsize so how you have your space organized now would be nice to see. Storage options you use in your space would also be appreciated. Thank you, I like week 3 very much.
Loving this series Annette so glad that you have a SELPHY please can you tell me what app you use on your phone I have endless problems with sizing looking forward to week 4 🇬🇧
Thanks Susan, I'm so glad you're enjoying it. Me too! I will answer your question here and also in the Week 4 video when I share more on the Selphy printer. I use the actual Selphy app to compose the photos the size I want them, then save them to my Photos folder on my phone and print from there. More on that soon.
Another great class, Annette! My question is about storage of your dies and how you keep track of what you have. I see others asked the same thing, looking forward to your live.
I enjoy watching you assemble your pages. I would like to know how to design pages and layouts. If I choose pattern paper before I have my photos, I worry they won't work together. I hate to cover the paper I chose to begin with.
LOVE your videos! THANK YOU for making them! My question for the live would be about coordinating the colors in pictures with the colors in the papers . I know you spoke about the color wheel in this video, but I’m wondering if you have any other tips and thoughts on that subject. I feel like I spend way too much time trying to figure out what goes together (tones and hues too). This seems to really be an issue when trying to use a certain paper pack (that has certain colors)throughout a project.Hope that makes sense.
Love the scissors on the swivel!!!!!! I too, would love an in depth instructions on the CP1300. I’m trying to decide! Exp. Does it take ink cartridges or is ink in the trays on the papers, do you have to buy different size trays for the size you want, if it’s Wi-Fi do you need the battery pack, do you need to down load an app? I have more but I’m sure you will answer them all! I’m interested in the clips you use as well. Again, thank you for sharing your creativeness with the world!
Can you give us suggestions on how to make busy paper work for journal pages? I love Graphic 45, as I know you do, but I really struggle to use it with my journal dies. Examples would be awesome!
Hello! Would you be able to show how you size your photos for printing with the Selphy. I have one and have difficulty sizing different sizes of pictures.
I posted my Week 4 video yesterday with an in-depth demonstration of the Selphy and exactly what you are asking about, if you'd like to check it out. Let me know if you found it helpful.
@@AnnetteGreen I watched it last night. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate videos where I learn something useful. Again thank you!! I enjoy your videos greatly
Q1: With so many journal sizes available from ECD, how do you decide which size to use for each project? Q2: I usually use Beacon 3-in-1 glue, but recently tried Art Glitter glue. I’m having trouble with the paper not laying flat after it dries. Am I using too much glue? Q3: Do you store stamps and coordinating dies together? What if dies can be used with multiple stamp sets? How do you store them and keep track of what works together?
Great video, Annette! Your weekly page turned out so darling. I have the Canon printer, but I think it died. It just will not print for me. I didn't realize you could take smaller pictures with it. I use my phone send them to my computer, then use an app for Mac that will print all kinds of different sizes. Can we see your craft room again? Have you made any changes? How do you figure out what you will purge or keep? (I'm trying to do that now and found stuff I forgot all about. No sense keeping it, right?) How do you store your papers, dies, stamps? Think that's enough for now. Thank you so much for your time!
I’m new to your posts, love them!! I am curious on what to bring on vacation without needing another suitcase. Do you prep the background pages like you did on the weekly journal?
Welcome Tammie! Yes, it is best to have your background pages ready ahead of time. Bring some basic cardstock colors like black, white or ivory, and Kraft. they go with everything. These are great for photo mats, journaling, stamping, etc.
Hello, Annette, I'm new to your channel. Your journals are lovely. I was wanted to know what stamp set do you use to create you calendars for your pages.
Hello Tanya and welcome! Thank you so much. I will answer your question in the Live as well (coming soon), but will also answer here. First I wanted to clarify, are you asking about the small calendars in my datebook planner? If so, those are not stamps, those are actually printable calendars I've created and I sell in my Etsy shop for only $2. I make them every year. If you're interested, check out my Etsy shop for those and other stuff here: www.etsy.com/shop/ArtByAnnetteGreen
Great video! Very helpful! I notice that you have everything stamped, cut and ready to go. Do you just sit and cut materials not knowing how or when you will use them or do you have a plan in mind before you do your stamping, cutting, etc?
Hi Annette, Have toy tried the HP Sprocket? If so, can you compare it to the Cannon Selfi? I'm constantly frustrated with the Sprocket and having to always adjust my photos to "get the blue out" when using it. I print the same on my dull size Cannon TS8220 and they come out fine.

I have taught one class here in Greenville on request by a large group of ladies who get together on a regular basis to craft. Other than special requests, no I don't teach in this area as I haven't really pursued a venue yet. I tend to teach to large groups (minimum 20 to max of 40 if I teach alone) so it's sometimes hard to get that many locally. That's why I rely on busy scrapbook stores and craft retreats and cruises. Always a big turn-out.

Will you ever come to teach here in Southern California
I am cutting back on my travel teaching, as it's a LOT of work and I do everything myself. But you never know what the future holds!
Hi Annette,
Have toy tried the HP Sprocket? If so, can you compare it to the Cannon Selfi? I'm constantly frustrated with the Sprocket and having to always adjust my photos to "get the blue out" when using it. I print the same on my dull size Cannon TS8220 and they come out fine.
Absolutely! Yes, I have the Sprocket and will dust it off to do this comparison in the Week 4 video when I talk in more depth about the Selphy. I'll tell you in advance, there is NO comparison to the quality!
How do you not become overwhelmed when deciding how to make your page with all the ECD dies available? I have set since the start of the ECD planners. With so many options I just freeze and become overwhelmed and get nothing done.
I really think this is a common problem a lot of crafters can relate to, so it's a great one to discuss in the upcoming Live. Thanks so much for this excellent question.
I love your pages. I see you layer your ephemera, is there a rule/guideline of the number of ephemera pieces for each page?
Great question, Donna. I'll make sure to add it to my list to respond to in the Live video soon. Thanks!
How do you remember what dies are in each set? Do you actually recall from memory or do you keep a list?
This is a great question which I will add to my Live Q&A. Thank you. I'll be Live this Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 3 p.m. EST. to answer this and many other viewers' questions. Thank you.
