As a fellow Brummie I always liked watching the late great Pat Roach. As well as his excellent performances as a bad guy in some iconic movies he was great to watch as Bomber in Auf....Pet. A nice guy and proper gent in real life too.
It's a good job Pat was such a huge bloke & could act a bit... Cause he couldn't throw a dart for toffee! lol. Seriously though I literally ran into him in Bham city centre once, he was giantly huge to a young lad like me at the time. RIP Pat.
Two absolute legends that I grew up with thanks to my old man and both sets of grandparents. On a side note as gentle as he was I wouldn’t have liked to get on the wrong side of Bomber! Absolute unit. Quality clip this.
Pat was such a softly spoken gentle giant of a man. I enjoyed his TV and film career but mostly enjoyed watching him wrestle as a kid. Happy memories of a time gone by.
Pat owned a scrap yard down Smethwick by Winson Green back in the day and as a tribute to him it has a muriel painted of him on the outside wall of it now
@bumm fart Right, little angry one. So longevity/popularity is a gauge of quality re your laughable 'argument' that bowen's 14-year reign of hosting a shitt TV show was good. So. You're a Muslim who loves romance novels and justin bieber... Hee! Hee!
I already new Pat was on the brilliant Auf Wiedersehen Pet, three Indiana Jones films, Never Say Never Again and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, but Bullseye as well? All shows/films I loved as a kid, and still do!
Auf was brilliant for pat cause he was often typecast as a brute, thug, goon, henchman great seeing him do that no complaint but bomber was the voice of reason a gentle giant unless you pushed him, nice to see him play a role where he wasn't getting killed, good wrestler aswell.
Pat was a really nice bloke.. A gentle giant. Met him 3 times and chatted his wife up before knowing.. Great couple. His wife introduced me somewhat awkwardly but I came clean.. I miss him!!!
Great stuff I am a relative of pat's remember going to his scrap yard in frankly he was there some times and he got on well with my dad nice man found this though a old episode of bullseye that was on late and I was told he was on the show but I missed it
This was the same guy who played that big baled headed bastard in Raiders of the lost ark. The scene where he has a fist fight with Indiana Jones. R.I.P Pat Roach, you are gone, but never forgotten. ruclips.net/video/FRTkFU1xSwY/видео.html
First time I have ever heard him speak in his own voice. All of the cast were messed up totally. Timothy Spell was born in London and played the Brummie, Pat born in Brum and played Bristol. You had three Geordies lads, so why not allow their own voices, seems a bit weird casting. Two excellent shows though back in the days, pet and bullseye.
Come on, Tim SPALL is one of the best actors this Country has produced in the last 50 years. His Barry voice was spot on and he could ACT. Pat Roach wasn't an actor as such but made Bomber his own.
What a pair of genuinely lovely guys. Bullseye and Auf Wiedersehen Pet were a huge part of my childhood. God rest you both.
🤍
Was he a Christian?
One on the left, peado.
Two Legends from two of the greatest shows. R.I.P Pat and Jim.
Were they Christians?
Mcgowan must have brought the dartboad back
Haha lol

Lmao 😂
He left the darts, though.
Bomber didn't qualift for the darts match against the army lads, that was Dennis, Oz, MacGowan and Moxey.
Pat was a MONSTA.!!!!!!!
Pat Roach did the very best scene from (1983) Never Say Never Again and is highly memorable in Indiana Jones ....a great guy!
We'd all like a mate like Pat......true gentleman

He put up quite a fight against throat cancer but sadly lost his fight 1937_ 2004
Pat was a gentleman, God bless.

As a fellow Brummie I always liked watching the late great Pat Roach. As well as his excellent performances as a bad guy in some iconic movies he was great to watch as Bomber in Auf....Pet. A nice guy and proper gent in real life too.
1st time ive heard him speak in his own accent and mannerisms.
" that'll do Bomber that will"
A gentle giant. Heart of gold and abundance of talent. Forever missed is Mr Pat Roach.
It's a good job Pat was such a huge bloke & could act a bit... Cause he couldn't throw a dart for toffee! lol. Seriously though I literally ran into him in Bham city centre once, he was giantly huge to a young lad like me at the time. RIP Pat.
Did anyone notice that Pat slipped into doing Bomber's voice at one point?
Two absolute legends that I grew up with thanks to my old man and both sets of grandparents. On a side note as gentle as he was I wouldn’t have liked to get on the wrong side of Bomber! Absolute unit. Quality clip this.
Roach seems like the nicest guy!

Pat was a really nice bloke.. A gentle giant. Met him 3 times and chatted his wife up before knowing.. Great couple. His wife introduced me somewhat awkwardly but I came clean.. I miss him!!!
Birmingham New Street, Kingston Arcade.. Wife had a herbal remedies shop and Pat had the Gym upstairs..We met in the herbal remedies..
Pat Roach owned a cafe in my home town in the 1960's.
He stayed fit by repeatedly punching Harrison Ford in the face.
🤣
Pat roach real man R.I.P
That's where moxseys darts went
He was a fantastic actor sadly missed RIP BOMBER.
I genuinly thought he was from Bristol. Like I knew moxy was putting on an accent yknow but I thought Bomber sounded so natural.
Jesus, Pat’s outfit takes me back.
boselect69
Pat owns that argyle like a champ. It could be a Pringle but there's no logo...maybe a Coxmoore.

The two contestants are sharing a hair style

I once met Bomber at a petrol station near Barry’s driving an old mini.
He was also a bouncer once at a punk club called the rat's arse

It was perfect casting. And Kevin Whately is a posh Northumbrian doing a Geordie accent. Similar to Nails and Healys but not quite.
Bomber👍🏼
Had a cracking Gym in Birmingham shitty centre. Top man
Mike Humble he was meant to be a really nice guy I have been told
Bomber thinks I died in 2004!
