this is very accurate and well-made. It has shown Jinnah exactly as the monster that he was literally the devil himself.
Jinnah was not like the monster he is presented to be here and elsewhere and everywhere. If anything, he was a man of principles. Pls read Stanley Wollert's biography on M. A. Jinnah for further information.
principle yeah right. A man who hated the Idea of India. A man who is solely responsible for the deaths of thousands due to Partition. Don't be ignorant, go read up on how that vile Jinnah fooled Muslims into believing the need for Pakistan. That monster only wanted a country for himself. @@Hubofmyriademotions
Is the actor playing Nehru the one who played Francis Urqhart in House of cards?
Yes, even I was surprised 😂 to see him portray Pt Nehru 😅
This isn't the full series. It's heavily edited. Does anyone have the link to the six episodes series ?
WHY censor the bit of Jinnah pleading against Partition of Punjab...??
That and LOTS MORE 'spicy' bits left out....esp Edwina climbing on to the train of corpses.... And more on the Edwina n Nehru 'affair'...
Mountbatten bears a heavy burden of guilt for the rushed partition of India and the horrible casualties that resulted .India should never have been partitioned. A longer transition period was needed to smooth the way to independence.
That was not Mountbatten's decision. PM Atlee fixed the date and all the Indian leaders agreed. And after 15th August, the responsibility of maintaining law and order fell to the Indian and Pakistani governments
Isn’t Jinnah’s accent sounding French?😅
Peado
Very biased , falls n facts were twisted in this movie.
Wrong. This movie is very accurate. Almost entirely based on the thoroughly researched and critically acclaimed book Freedom at Midnight
