    Making more space for the obiage as the first step was such a good tip! And making an extra loop around the knot was also a great trick! I will definitely try to remember these the next time I put on a kimono.

    Thank you Billy so much for this video!!! It’s the clearest and best video I’ve seen for how to tie obiage!! I especially love your tip on looping over the top of the knot to make it look neat! I’m going to try your method this week for our first Ro lesson of the year for tea class (I’m in Australia so it’s winter here at the moment!) 💗💗💗 thank you! Please keep making videos like this!

    I wear "boring" men's kimono, lol.
    But i love how much there Is to learn about women's kimono. So many sensible suggestions to get those details perfected.

    My obiage is puffy and I can't get tied like that. What kind is it and how else can I tie it? It's super elastic like and thick so the knot is huge.

    my obi-age is always a mess because i'm way too lazy after tying my obi, but I should try more with it.
