Thank you for posting this... i used to have the cassette tape of this compilation and lost it. This is the one song I loved from that tape. Once again, thank you.
I had the privilege and joy of publishing the song and both the original Petra and subsequent Sixpence cover. I have abiding affection for the song, the Psalm upon which it is based and both recorded versions. It would be impossible for me to favor one rendering over the other. WIth most of us music lovers, so often, the first version we hear of a song we come to love will always be our favorite. My first hearing of is was sung solo with acoustic guitar accompaniment by its composer, Michael Hudson, in a Sunday morning worship service in Nashville around ‘79 or ‘80!

Nice work Brent. Freaking aresome.
this is so pretty!
is Petra cover!. Blessings.
A nice version, but it can't compare Greg Volz original vocals.
The instrumental re-reading is interesting, too.

Last time i heard this song I was probably 10.
I've always loved her voice, but musically they are a little dull at times. I really like this version of this song.
The other 2 songs from this album I listened to absolutely sucked but this remake ain't half bad. Still prefer the original
Louie's Solo is amazing...
