Dude, that Merle Allin mustache gets me every time. That said, you guys are new to my feed and I'm lovin' it. How did it take so long for that to happen?!
Hunky Dory was very flattered by the experience captured by the Stacey Cam. I like the new & used of an artist being filed together & I dig the Treasure Trove ..my wallet doesn't. ✌️
Towards the end of the video, The Stacey Cam picked up a shot of Big Thief's Capacity. I love that band, do you all ever listen to them or their lead singer/ songwriter Adrianne Lenker? Oh yeah, love the store, it is indeed hunky dory.
Coincidentally, earlier today I brought in not one, but two copies of that disco Star Wars album amongst ~ 80+ records of thrift finds over the years. What I will get back in return will finance either the upcoming RSD or if I'm really lucky, will help me land what has thus far been unobtainium for me...still patiently working on that. That new location looks very welcoming...nothing like having your drug dealer under 5 miles away. Cheers! (though I stopped drinking as well back in Nov 2023). Good stuff!
Great video Just subbed! Luckily, for us the best record stores close to us are some miles away in the city of Seattle. There’s a chain Silver Platters independent store three locations one in Lynnwood, which is the closest decent Indy record store we have. I’m telling lots of people and doing videos on Daybreak Records in Seattle, probably shooting myself in the foot as far as best kept secret for hard to find, and the best deals on used vinyl in the city. 😂 My wife Dana does videos with me too but she likes to be off camera. Which is about 25 minutes away on a good traffic day. Anyhow, really enjoyed the video, your new subscribers in the upper left 🎸🤘🎸
@@vinylreckoning we have no idea either. The Vinyl Community is an interesting place. I like what I like, Dana likes what she likes. And there’s people out there sitting on thrones of self-righteousness over whatever opinions they have on music, genres, pressings, etc. Sadly that stuff can bring people down, turn people off and make the VC not fun. But for us they are not the fun curious monkeys in our personal circus. 😁
Hate to be the party pooper, but you essentially just doxxed yourself by telling where this place is in relation to your house. People on the Internet are weird. Be safe guys.
@@vinylreckoningLOL it’s something I think about too. Our channel just hit 3 million views last month. I was telling a friend about it, and he said that in LA all the big RUclipsrs houses are on a map! Like you can visit a map of the RUclips stars LOL 😂 Oddly that brought me some comfort. 😅 Another weird thing about the Internet age. If people want to find you, it’s easier than ever. I just keep doing my thing and refuse to live in fear 🎸🤘
Love them “Feel at Home” record shops, thanks for sharing what’s again ✌🏼🎶
Wonderfully edited video yall ❤️

Hard to have a bad day when it starts with a video + Stacey Cam ™️. Cool shop 👍🏻
Ayeeeee, thanks buuuuud.
What a lovely shop! I could definitely spend a lot of time there, the vibe is immaculate
One of our favorites for sure.
So jealous you have something like this close to you. I dream of going to these kinds of record stores. I second the coffee bar
We are VERY lucky for sure
Baduizm - Great pickup! I wish there was a record store within 3miles of my house - there used to be - right before I moved here!
We are lucky enough to have 6 stores within 10 miles of us. All have their own amazing vibe and selection.

Life is full of mysteries my friend 🤷🏻♂️
Great video! Will have to check it out next time I’m in North Carolina. 😊

Cool Dynamic Duo for music on wax!

Us too! Sometimes, leaving there, our wallets hurt.

Stacey LOVES Big Thief. From everything I’ve heard, I’m a big fan.
Coincidentally, earlier today I brought in not one, but two copies of that disco Star Wars album amongst ~ 80+ records of thrift finds over the years. That record is so silly. I wish the RSD list spoke to us this year, nothing we can’t live without.

Welcome! You’ll quickly find out we have no idea what’s going on. I haven’t been up to Seattle in a good 15 years, loved it when I was there!

2 questions: 1) how does one “be easy”? 2) what is the avg time spent for you two on a record shop visit?
Being easy, much like enlightenment, it is a long road, but once achieved….oooweeeee. Usually we spend a few hours, we gotta see everything!
Cool store ✅
Solid pickups ✅
Cute Stacey ✅
Cool Matt
🥰💖
dont tell anyone I said this, but Doja Cat is pretty solid.
Since this video I have heard some songs, I dig them 🤷🏻♂️
"can count"
Tried it…confirmed true
But are there taco’s next door?
There are not, however it’s across the parking lot from a killer pizza place!

We didn’t, I assure you of this. But thank you for the warning, truly.
@@vinylreckoning ok cool, just wanted to give a heads up just in case.
Really do appreciate it! We are dumb but not “tell people where we live” dumb. lol
