I've had two opportunities to visit the country of Saudi Arabia and I've loved both experiences. On this last adventure I had the chance to spend a lot of my time in AlUla, it felt straight out of Indiana Jones, it was amazing! The Red V-Raptor has a Canon RF mount on it, so I only used RF lenses. I used the Canon 15-35mm F/2.8 for 95 percent of the video, with a few shots being the Canon 70-200mm F/2.8

how much ND did you have to use in the high noon?
Probably ND11 and you would be good. I was filming at 120FPS at around F/5.6 for most of this with a polarizer instead of an ND though. Check it out for sure!

Honestly the video was amazing, but this only shows 1% of Saudi. You could have captured Riyadh, Abha, Dammam, and many more places.
It doesn't even show off 1 percent for whatever it's worth :) I was only there for a short time. I did show some of Diriyah in Riyadh. I did capture the city as well, but I was much more intrigued by Hegra and that area since it's so drastically different than the Utah desert that I live in now. I would need a year to capture a decent amount of Saudi, but I did the best with the time I had :)
There's only one thing I will never forget about Saudi - something happened in the embassy.

This according to both US intelligence and the Washington Post. He came to visit only to file the papers to marry his fiance. They never got to have their wedding.
Tip of the iceberg. Saudi Arabia is one of the worst human rights offenders in the world, in 2019 number 3 on the list of most executions in the world. Torture in form of amputations and public whippings are common, dissenting journalists are often targeted, silenced, or driven to exile. No elections take place in Saudi Arabia. It is a dictatorship. The situation for women is absolutely inhuman and unacceptable.
That you despite that (in willful ignorance because I'm sure you are aware of most of what I've stated), accept money to travel there and make a commercial for this nation - not once, but twice - is a display of character that's hard to misinterpret. For You, money is worth more than basic human rights and democracy.
After the last Saudi travel film I considered unsubscribing but glossed over it, guessing and hoping it probably wouldn't happen again. That was naive of me.

Videography is unquestionably good but it sucks to know that the country only allows media like this to brighten up its awful image. This shouldn’t cover up their terrible track record to convince tourists to visit…
I can only speak from my own experience and those I was with, but I was welcome in by everyone we came in contact with, in the city, in the villages, and in the middle of nowhere. The locals I talked with, men, woman, and even children spoke extremely highly of their country. I felt nothing but kindness here, and I truly love the people there.
Saudi Arabia probably the most miss understood and misinterpreted country by the media they are so much bad stuff just to ruin the country's reputation if you never lived there you cant make assumptions and act like you know everything there is always more to the story.
