Great video! I have never considered China to be a potential flyfishing destination. Your film changed my mind. As far as I am concerned, there is nothing better than chasing wild native trout in those small mountain streams. Also, I really enjoyed the music, editing and overall atmosphere of your video. Instant subscription. Keep up the good work guys. Tight lines.
So rare to see pristine water(especially in the P.R.C.).I only saw clean water in on the the Li River in Guilin. But I am sure it was not as pristine as those streams you are fishing. Also those trout, they must be native to the P.R.C.;I have never seen a trout that you were catching. They seemed to look like Brown trout;but the mouth is different.Great to see you practice catch and release too.Good fishing and tight lines forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you sir, for the nice words! These are lenok trout, which is native species from the local streams. Yes, these steams are so pristine and precious, we will do our best to keep the fish as it is, and share the passion for flyfishing with more people in P.R.C. Wish you tight lines too, have a great season ahead!
Great video- Most people wouldn't know of the backcountry beauty of China! Thank you so much for sharing! China is on my bucket list and a bit of fly fishing would be amazing adventure. So How can go Fly fish China? I need a guide!
This clip is a breath of fresh air, between all the trout bums, cool dudes, Tats and piercings of modern fly fishing. Thanks for sharing this. I really love the pristineness of your fishing. All wild fish and by the looks of it, a very well managed or very well balanced river system. Thanks again!
@@sunflyfishing7314 can you give some info on the exact(ish) location? Qinling is a pretty big area. I would love to visit China some day to do a series of articles on fly fishing and the fly tackle industry.
Beautiful river and music. You men are very good fly casters. The Lenok (Manchurian trout) salmonids were unknown to me and I had to look them up. The fish looks somewhat similar to rainbows. Thanks for sharing.
Very nicely filmed and edited. You have some breathtaking scenery and streams, and I can think of no better way than fly fishing to enjoy the beauty of nature.
Guys, you're awesome! that's kind of epic video which uncovering new spots, hidden for all the world during thousand of years. Thanks and greetings from Ukrainian flyfishermen!

I lived in Haikou for a couple years, 2015-2017, and managed to catch wild introduced Tilapia and a few small ocean fish on the fly while down there. I just never could get any of the other local fish to actually bite, though they would show interest in small wet flies. Cool to see that you're actually catching Salmonids in China. What species are they?
@@sunflyfishing7314 Ah,the same fish that Mongolian Taimen eat for snacks. Very pretty. Any idea when this part of Qinling would be open for us foreigners? If ever? 飞鱼烧-Flyfishingfever I have watched a few Tiemco videos from Japan and they seem to use "Long Drift Leaders" which is what I believe it stands for. I think generally 15-20ft leaders for the fast moving waters.
I see what you mean now. In fact, these lenok trouts are not very shy, so we normally just use up to one and half rod length leader. And they like some movement on the fly too.
This is so awesome! 🎣 I’ve never been fly fishing in China. Looks so beautiful. I was few times fly fishing in Japan, a bit similar atmosphere as on your video. And you are right ”you can never get them all” :)

please use barbless hooks when you fish.. it easier to catch and relase the fish with less damage to the fish.. and yourself...when you hook yourself
