Tenkara is one of the traditional methods of fishing in Japan. Thank you watching this video and I'm sorry for the poor English. #Tenkara #Trout fishing #kebari
"Just started learning english this month" Dude you speak really good for 1 month learning, I understood everything. I know video is old but just wanted to say it.

I first saw a Tenkara rod 15 years ago from my Japanese Father in Law. I had no idea how it was used to fish with. I now fish tenkara style and really enjoy it. Your English is impressive. Keep making videos you are doing such a great job. I lived in Japan for 14 years and never fished there. I regret it now.
I’m impressed by your English! I’ve done a bit of rod and reel fly fishing before but I’m very interested in trying tenkara. Looks like a lovely place to fish.
luc lachapelle Thank you! My English..... 😂. Fly and Tenkara, there are advantages to both. I chose Tenkara because the tackle is cheap. Anyway, fishing is great. Heal our heart.
Wonderful video and great English. There aren't very many videos of tenkara in Japan in English available so I hope you will do more. Thanks from the US :)
Fantastic introduction to tenkara. Really makes me want to try. Especially in your beautiful mounting streams. And your English is excellent. No need to apologise. Many thanks for the video.
Good video. And your English is good! I fly fish but have recently learned of tenkara. I appreciate the simplicity of this method in respect to equipment.
Thank you! I don't know if my strange English is understood for everyone (at least you made me understand!) but I will continue to create such a video for a while.
Hello from Wales .(uk) I have been tenkara fishing for 4 years now . I have never met anyone else tenkara fishing .so your video will help so much .no problems with your English .have fun .can't wait for next video
Came to learn a bit about Tenkara fishing after seeing it mentioned, was not disappointed! Thanks for the great video, looks like a beautiful fishing spot.
Beautiful video Fisherman's spoon. I can not go fishing during the Corona crisis so this is very pleasant to watch. Thank you very much! Mountain stream+Suzuki Samourai+tenkara fishing=PARADISE
@@fishermansspoon Hello again I will be fishing again soon. I have purchased a beautiful new Daiwa Master tenkara L LL36 directly from Japan and I am very eager to try it. I hope there will be some rain in September so the river will flow better. Good bye
I bought a tenkara rod for the first time this year, it was really fun to catch 20" trout with in the big river near me. These rods are stronger than they look, I was catching fish in water moving around 900ft/h.
I understood your English easily and enjoyed your video …..starting tenkara this spring after years of fly fishing …the presentation of the fly and the simplicity of it appeals to me. ….I live just north of the Adirondacks in New York and just west of Vermonts Green mountains …..thanks again sir
Thank you 🙏 My salt water fishing movie was not popular in Japan lol, so I was giving up but I got better after listening to your opinion. I will continue to make videos in English.
CHRIS WALPORT I will continue to make videos in English. Although it is irregular, please visit this channel again I try to make a good video. Thank u 😀😀
I enjoyed your video, as an old fly fisherman of 50 years fishing the fly, I find this technique very interesting indeed, thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I have visited Japan twice and love your country. Your video is so good. I love fly fishing and have become interested in tenkara. Thanks for showing beautiful stream and sharing your knowledge
Hi ! I'm from the French Alps and I've started Tenkara in July of this year, this is a great video for learning ! What is the size of your level line ? For me it's #3.5 but for the next year I want to try smaller size like #2.
SkayToo Thank you for watching my video. I also use the level line of # 3.5 normally.,and using # 2.5 when the fish is nervous. However, windy day has many troubles when using a light line. Tenkara is easy and simple, but it is very impressive😀😀
Thank you for watching. I'm happy that many Russian people have comments and questions. so I'm interested in Tenkara of Russian river. Hope to visit someday.
Liked and subscribed! I learned about Tenkara a few months ago and have been wanting to try it soon. It looks like to much fun! I also tie flies, and it is impressive how easily you made the sakasa kebari in this video! Also, I am impressed by your english after one month, and am warmed by the effort you put into learning. Very different from what I see here in the USA about foreign languages.
I really enjoyed this video. Your English is very good, by the way. I have fly-fished with a rod and reel for many years, but two years ago I took up tenkara fishing in Wales. I love its simplicity. However, I find it difficult because it's necessary to approach very close in order to cast to a trout, and I often scare the fish.
Awesome video! I just moved to Fussa Tokyo 2 weeks ago from the US. I love to fly fish and would love to try this. How could i find these beautiful streams that have these trout?
Hi from Girona Spain, we are working in make Tenkara more popular here in the mediterranean, is nice to see people like you helping too! Cool video! Hope to see you some day in our waters!!!
great instructions, awesome video! your English is great and you have such a calming voice 💚 I love that you make your own lures, it makes the experience so much more personal. Do you make your rod as well?
I love tis . Ive seen and read a lot about it andI tie many kebari flies. which I use on normal fly gear. I may get a tenkara rod. Thank you also for explaining in English-tat is so helpful. I hope you are safe and well. :-)
Hi i'm from Australia i am a fly fisher look to do some Tenkara fishing with your flies. what depth can you fish your flies in our streams, they are about 10 cm to 180 cm . What level line do you recommend for this scenario and length. can you fish your flies as dry and/or wet. My plan was to come to Japan this year however Covid19 put a stop to it, hopefully it will be better next year. Looking forward to your feedback

Thank you for the video .how heavy your rod ?
Tarik Sahraoui about 85g. Thank you.
Great English, keep up the good work! 👍🏼
I loved this video!
Are you adding any motion to the fly, or does it twitch and dance on its own in the current?
Sometimes I add an action to Kebari in subsurface. It's like twitch but carefully and softly. It's effective when fish activity is high.
Fisherman's Spoon thank you so much! I ordered my first tenkara rod after watching this video!

Fisherman's Spoon
Jim Rock 横から失礼します、アマゾンで探したら確かにありました。貴重な意見に感謝します。貧乏性なので余った牛革でやってみます😆 来期が楽しみです‼️
