I wanna know more about Celtic gods since they don’t get enough recognition to practically none at all in modern times. I only know of Brigid the goddess of fire, healing, inspirational art, and craftsmanship. Plus, did druids actually wear antlers on their hoods of their outfits?
We need more details on morrigan, hecate, brighid, and cernunnos and others like that 🖤 I'm also interested in the fomorians and faerie lore in Irish and Scotland tales. It's hard to find information in videos, though I've read tons of books. But it's nice to listen sometimes with some visual effects. Appreciate all you do already though
Irish to the british: "We are so strong, not even the Romans dared to challenge our rule. Do you still think that you are better than us, you bunch of tea drinking...?" Vikings: "What beautiful landscapes you have, guys!" 😎
*If the americans made a movie about the Battle for Ireland* Vikings: "We came from northern Europe to step on church's stuff" Irish: "THAT DOES IT. LET'S HAVE A FIGHT WITH SO MANY QUICK SHOTS AND CLOSE UPS, YOU CAN'T TELL WHAT'S GOING UP!!!" *"Linkin Park" music starts playing*
Last sentence is badly put, celts were out there before their arrival (or their culture to be more precise) to Ireland. But other than that an amazing vid!
I was mistaken, they weren't Picts. I didn't find much on what they may have called themselves, with such ancient peoples we mostly just know them by the names that archeologists give them (Bell-Beaker People, Western Hunter-Gatherers, Proto-Indo-Europeans, ect.)
there are some things I need to point out, is this from the book of invasions? if so that story is very illegitimate due to the fact it was a book made after Ireland was Christianized, second Nuada couldn't become King due to the fact that he wasn't whole, and third, what about the formorians??? the supernatural race of giants and sea people Ireland, fourth it's as people say its pronounced ' Tua De Denannan ' not Tuatha. but overall still an interesting story. I'm moreso interested in pre-christian story's and would like to learn more on the god's of Ireland and the culture of the celts ( which fyi were there in Ireland, they didn't just become celts after the battle )

Why is the hashtag Greek mythology and not Celtic or druid or Irish. It's not greek? Dagda is Irish Celtic correct?
Celts also have settlements in scot, land and ancient France. Aren’t there similar war sagas in those lands u can do later?

What were the original people's ethnicity then? Since they weren't Celtics themselves?
Picts, I think.
@@matthewsuchomski2593 weren't the Picts a Celtic.people from Scotland though?

In the book of invasion the Irish and by extension the Scots where descendents of a people(tribe) called the Milesians.
I thought Nuada couldn't be king without a true arm because he wasn't whole then bres became king then we had the Fomorian war lugh becomes king

This isn't a good telling whatsoever of the Irish polytheism. Very disappointed
