Progressive sanctification is heresy. Jesus is out sanctification. Why do you think He washed the feet of His disciples? It was the picture of sanctification and it is Jesus work to do within us through the Holy Spirit. Didn't know DP was a Calvinist to mark and avoid. Too bad. WOW! Present continuous! in the greek is it present. The difference is this. You are being nice. Implying earlier you were not nice, later you may not be nice. That is present continuous. NASB garbage. Here is present. You are nice. It is your identity. That's the Greek in Textus R. So, if you are being saved. Earlier you weren't saved, later you may not be saved. NO ASSURANCE OF SALVATION IN PROGRESSIVE SANCTIFICATION. If you are present tense saved then you are still saved later. Avoid this guy like the plague. If you are born again, you become a new person. You are redeemed by the Grace of Christ and sealed by the Holy Spirit of God as a child of God. HE will live in you until you die. You must surrender everything to Him and be aware of His presence. How will I know that the Holy Spirit lives in me? Simple, if you sin , just by saying something that is not true, HE wil convict you and will bring your attention to in many ways, Thank you Brother Prince for you priceless teaching that Salvation is and on going until we die and the Holy Spirit will leave us.

True, the Lord Jesus Christ did it all for those of us who accept Him as Lord and Master. We are admonished to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. The washing of the water of the Word cleanses us and prepares us for Jesus. We do not become stagnant. We progress from faith to faith and glory to glory, becoming doers of the Word and not hearers only.
“Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar? You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did. Here The preacher is mixing up salvation and sanctification. New birth is also salvation which is one time and not a process. Sanctification/ spiritual growth is the process that follows up salvation, to conform us to the image of Christ.
