Still listening to those songs in 2024 ✌
SERIOUSLY UNDERRATED TALENT
This dude is one of the most underrated songwriters of all time
Seriously one of my favorite voices in modern music. Alexisonfire are one of my all time favorites but Dallas's stuff away from there still blows my mind. What an underrated talent he really is.
❤
😊
I love him. Just love. He is so humble and yet he makes every song a masterpiece, weather its a song of aof or his own. He sings perfectly. No one has ever touched my soul as much as him with his songs. He is the true artist.
As God is My Witness......
Been looking for this for YEARS.
Same here. I hate that they don't release most of these after they air... so glad this performance was preserved.
I have been looking for several of his professionally recorded live sessions with the full band that used to be on RUclips but have been since deleted for YEARS also
I bought the Album...................
But This Sounds Better.
Me too! Cheers.
This is what the world needs right now, thank you for posting.
Such a good artist. All time favourite, ever since I first heard Save your scissors.
I was young the first time I saw Dallas, and he didn’t have much music out at the time. I truly wish I would’ve listen more intently. I’m from Ontario (his home province) so I’m sure just a matter of time before he’s back, but no matter how long the wait it’s too long. See you soon Dallas!
1st real favorite artist and never changes. Dallas is my safe home 😇
my happy place
This version of Fragile Bird has the most amazing bridge ever written, a true masterpiece! I wish this was a version available for download.
You can download full show from RUclips if you have premium
thanks for the heads up. i had to look for it first. lol
not gonna lay on you what your music means to me. just wanna say God bless you sir.
The first song I ever heard was Dallas Green's version of Love Don't Live Here Anymore...from then on I was hooked! Loved the song Sunflowers too!
When he talked about "O' sister", I cried like a child. I have one of the lines tattooed on my arm just to remember how it helped me get through shitty moments. I have no words to describe how important City and Colour is to me. Brazil loves you Dal, I can't wait to see you live for the very first time.
So awesome thanks for sharing your story. They're awesome. I too have symbolic notion to some of their work in my tattoos
This is the best line up..they ALWAYS sound exceptional
Yeah it sucks that the bassist is back with the Raconteurs, he brought some much needed groove to City and Colour. Good thing Matt Kelly and Dante Schwebel are still around though.
Dallas you are my star
Why is no one talking about this performance of Sorrowing Man? Wow....my heart.
The version he did at Coachella is his best one live imo ruclips.net/video/KXG7MzpaiUI/видео.html
@ShaneAOF a great show, but this shit is the business
Amazing. Typical flawless performance, and by far the best interview I've ever seen of Dallas.
This how at guitar center is my favorite of city and colour
Pedal steel!! Great sounding band.
Shane you’re a real one for this. Not enough ppl respect and enjoy Dallas’ work like us. Shame cause he is one of the best to do it
This whole performance is quantity. The sound , lighting and videos Teams all Deserve an Award 🥇👍🏽
idk how this genius of a guitar player only has 10k views
It deleted the track time stamps so posting here just in case they go missing again.

Thanks for video. Was moved by first airing on Direct TV. Purchased commercial album.....
But prefer this, hands down.
Thank you! I was like, what just happened??
I was literally only listening to hear " as much as i ever could" because this version from guitar center sessions is the best I've heard them do of the song. Pure genius, love it!
They privated that unlisted vid.
@@jckddsn I was literally just about to say this! As much as I ever could is one of my favourites too!
@@ChrisSims89 Those bastards!
Man I love this band more than I can tell you. Glad I came across this, some awesome versions in here!!
I've been looking for this video since I lost it on my old DVR 6 years ago. Thank you.
Dude .......
That's My Post.
Omg same thing happened to me and I had that saved for years!!
Dallas, you are one of the best performers I’ve ever heard. I appreciate the little fuk ups in a performance. I totally relate to takin to the drink in life. But I appreciate all aspects of your music. Thank you.
Thank you for this!
so much emotion in their music, Dallas' his guitar is the paint brush and voice/lyrics, paint
The sound they get at "Sessions" is Better than the Studio Album.
Biggest compliment you can pay a pro audio guy
This is brilliant. Thanks for the upload. Fragile bird is just 🔥
For Whatever Reason,
This is Better than the Album.
You keep coming back! It has so much more emotion and rawness live. City and Colour is definitely a great musician to catch live if you ever can!
Inspiring….. love this group
Loved it, thank you so much for sharing!
That Slide adds So Much.
Truly a Fantastic interview...Amazing performance (as usual) and Amazing and intimate conversation!!! Thank you!!! xo
Damn that is some tasteful pedal steel playing at 15:00
damn I love this fuzz
Shane you rule bro
This is the way
I want Dallas to sing at my wedding.
Incredible!!! 😌
Dallas Green is absolutely world class
My Favorite version of Fragile Bird
............. Ever.
A Mystical and or Religious Experience.
😍
Why Do I Like This So Much?
(I have the Album)
Sounds BETTER than Album.
i like city & colours music
So many familiar faces in his band at that time
19:53 Dallas Green se quiebra y transmite mucho
I don't understand why As Much As I Ever Could (full version) was removed from this video. The best release ever.
Those seem to be some very honest words spoken from 40 minutes to 44 minutes.
❤
I love the inspiration of Jeff Buckley
I love city and colour but Alexisonfire will always have a place in my heart. I hope someday the will come with another album
This year! Wahey
@@regtyzack freaking right
all this time didnt even know he fronted alexisonfire
Dallas Green = the real deal.
Holla if 'Rain when I die' cover got you here to find this dude?!
Can anybody link that shirt Dallas Green is wearing ??
Am I high or does anyone else think this guy & christopher cross have similar voices... I mean this guy is incredible more so than christoper cross but there is something that sounds alike ..... Well either way im high no matter what
Skrillex on the bass kkkkk
Damn I'm a month too late lol
I'm holding up my lighter.
Skrillex on bass?
Thought the same
Really hoped they kept jammin around the 35. Min mark.
A Religious and or Mystical Experience.
Don’t say religious around Dallas 😅
It is just me or the drummer makes tempo changes in certain parts of the songs?
Why I do I need to play this to literally get anything productive done?
1:08 missed bass note :(
That was intentional and it sounded great
Ethereal.
I can't believe this guy is Canadian, considering how talented he is.
This seems like a really stiff interview.
Nic Harcourt might just be a really poor interviewer...
white guitar guy is damn to loud..
Who the hell is this interviewer? He looks like he works in a bank or museum-his tattoos are wearing him
