I fully removed the injectors. I’m not sure if you’re able to remember, but the 4 bolts that connect the injector to the head have some spacers. I believe those same spacers are used as seals between the head and injector, but I’m not sure. Did you have two sets of spacers for each bolt (the bigger one at the back) from the injector?
I don’t fully remember. I know the big spacers are at the top under the fuel rail as those spaces fell out when I removed the long bolts. You don’t have to remove the fuel injectors.
How long did it take you replacing the valve cover, in total? I have the same issue but I'm Im not confident in doing it myself. Some shops want to charge me for 2.5 hours of work time. Now seeing a dude change it by himself within an 18 minute video seems a bit irritating...
Thanks very much for that, I’m doing one at the moment and making a video, I’ll credit you in the video cos this was a big help, 👍
The job I did was successful, even without changing o rings, they looked ok, thanks again you are a legend .
Thanks for the video, it's given me enough confidence to do the job myself you are a legend

A very helpful video, thank you. I'm about to do the same on my student son's car however I am only changing the PCV valve assembly- wish me luck!
Cool, were you able to buy the PCV valve assembly on its own from GM. Good luck 🤞
GM want $1200AUD for the rocker cover assembly here in Australia...
