Superstars isnt just about numbers. Its about how well the teams does. And it dates back to hes last year in dallas. Where he started to get more burn. And it continued. Guy us carrying a team that has changed dramatically year to year. As well as playing with lesser talent.
Yeah but people only care about numbers unfortunately. MVP doesn't even mean Most Valuable Player anymore. No player means more to a single team than Brunson does to the Knicks.

Jeremy Lin had a 2 month run . Jalen Brunson has carried this to 50 wins while playing literally with the 2nd unit plus getting the Knicks to the 2nd seed, while averaging 35 points and 9 assists
Jalen Brunson is a superstar now. Tyrese Maxey , and Trae Young are right there with Jalen Brunson as the best guards in the East. Dame Lillard is old and don't impact winning anymore , LaMelo Ball stays hurt ,

He needs to push the knicks past what they’ve been stuck in the past 20-30 years, or continue to put these numbers up against top competition another few years like Melo. I don’t think Brunson has the added intangibles of that marketable superstar or at least we’ve not seen it. It comes in commercials, in references in other media (lyrics of songs for example), and other things like shoe deals.
