My name is Dave and I travel with my dog Bella in a 1987 Class A Motorhome. My channel is about full time RV Living in an older RV while keeping the wheels rolling on a budget. I do the repairs, updates and upgrades myself. I’ve become my own RV Mechanic/Medic! I seek boondocking opportunities every chance I can and power the RV with 500 watts of solar and approximately 500 amp hours of batteries. RV Resorts are just not our style!

Step by step soon it’ll be in shape
What a great location to make a campsite. Lawnmower's a touch smokey!
GOOD MORNING Best Dave Bella RUclips CANADA ONTARIO MISSISSAUGA TRANSIT 🇨🇦🇨🇦🍀🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃🐕
Lots of work but it seems like you're getting it done 😊👍natural springs are awesome ❤
Well done.
Those storm pictures were awesome! I'm glad you didn't get any hail damage. And I love how excited Bella gets when you get ready to go somewhere. She makes my heart smile! 😊❤
It’s looking good!
You get better mileage with premium. I have a 4x4 Tahoe with 5.3 and I get almost 14mpg, city. 20 freeway. Especially with a bigger rig, you need higher octane gas, because premium is what regular used to be ,and not as good as it was 20 years ago.
We'll be watching. 👀👀😁😁😎😎👍👍 Bella is a happy girl!
Thanks for letting us know how you did with the storm. Was concerned for you.
Looks like the mower is over full on the oil
I check mine at every fill up and have since 2006. It gives me a good idea of what is going on with my baby, 2003 CRV. I figure you lost 2-3 miles per gallon. Peace Out.
Sure is nice out there in the woods. It would look even better with some clearing of small trees. Leaving the larger ones to grow bigger. I wonder how many RV sites you could install on the old property? Need to spray for ticks and fleas.
I love work! I could watch it all day😅
I would love cleaning up and making a camp in the woods. Your set for fire wood for the rest of your life. LOL.
Dave, I learned about hail….I take a large Coleman cot mattress and use good screw type tarp clamps at four corners with rope pieces about four feet and buggies cords to place one across my windshield and another hail pad I call it across my hood. It easy to hold it in place by buggies to wheel wheel and door handles et. It worked twice. I store them for extra padding under my rig mattress. Glad u ok. The tarp clamps have a hole for biggie cords.
We had Tornado on ground torn 2 towns up by me in western PA /Ohio
Dave you need to build these out for multiple Rv sites for your friends to visit
I think you looked younger with the beard but to each his own, you look fine either way!
My E350 with V10 gets 12 mpg.
That would be a good place for a shed to off grid cabin project.
What did your family farm? Or was it a dairy farm?
will your kids keep it in the famly after you and sis are gone
That was a crazy storm🫣😳. I would have so enjoyed messing about up there even just 5 years ago, enjoy every day Dave, as you know anything can happen at any time. I loved having a fire and cleaning up all the deadfall come spring, back then we burnt the whole yard to get some nitrogen into the soil.
I can’t even mow now which annoys me because they always seem to run out of gas by the time they got to my part of the yard 😤and it ended up like a hay field.
I bought a rechargeable groomer last year with a bunch of different blades and adapters so I won’t let it get so bad this year. I have a phobia for bugs……has gotten worse as ticks have become a big problem here so high grass freaks me out. I even got a mesh suit last fall so I can get out and enjoy my yard this year. 🤞
Hope all goes well as you get the farm cleared out this summer, it would be great if the family goes camping there, the little ones would so enjoy it. Getting to have a sleepover camp with Grandad would be a cherished memory. 🙋🏼♀️🥰
Get pieces of carpet to put on your solar panels & windshields during hail storms.
❤Love the freezer, I have one cuz I must have my Popsicles when I'm camping ❤
Nice
With the way campground prices have been rising it’s a great idea to use the property you already have. Good move.
Hey Dave. You need a metal building to cover the vehicles with solar panels. It would be worth the investment!
FOR SURE. Done right it could be a water catchment system also. You have all the electronics to hook up to for a tankless water heater. Showers!
More like this Dave.....Your motivation is impressive. Is that mower a Wisconsin Briggs two-stroke? Ha
My 5.4 started losing mileage was the timing chains. Only cost 3,500 repair what a deal. To difficult job for this non mechanic.
I Enjoyed the strom pictures, it looked intense! Safe trip.
Day trips in the Fiesta with a small trailer might be more economical. I had a 4x8 or 10 single open snowmobile trailer that had very low sides. I pulled with a 2007 New Beetle TDI. I can't remember how high the fenders were but something like that might fit a riding mower with the deck raised. I think I went from 40ish to 36ish MPG towing whatever I put behind that car. Also lost a couple MPGs with kayak racks on the roof going down the highway.
Beautiful, peaceful property. Do you co-own it? How much land? Have you thought of a building there for off grid?
You are blessed to have access to this land. It is a PERFECT campground. ENJOY ! Thank you for sharing..
Awesome Dave and Bella🥰🥰. Can’t wait for your new camp site to come along nice !!!
U Ottawa Scotty sent me. Nice video. New subscriber from Dead Horse Tank, Texas area.
Dave who actually owns the property that you're trying to Clean up for camping.
Nice spot Dave, I noticed your mower smoking I have one of those chineseum motors also. They have a tendency to foul the air filter with oil. I wash mine and blow out the filter occasionally. Nice land.
Great video! Oh, and I bought the same microwave except in white😂
I bet that type of terrain makes your mower blade DULL as heck! Good thing you know how to sharpen it when you get back to the shop!
Ahhh good. Any freezer worth its weight has _got_ to be able to carry ice cream sandwiches! 😋
Tow your car with your van and go between camps with the car. My neighbor uses tar paper as a parking spot in his yard, to keep condensation and weeds down
Dave have you checked why U-haul for a trailer I rented one to haul mine
What a nice property! It's going to be a great place to camp.
Yes, treat yourself.
Thanks for sharing
Awesome trip ...

She does enjoy it! :)
Awesome video
My 1998 Expedition with the 5.4 liter Engine liked to Blow Spark Plugs. I guess it is in a junk yard now because I don't drive anymore and it is gone.
Hi Dave, I'm so excited to see you back at the farmstead. I can't wait to see your work results, as you go along. How nice it would be to invite Jeff and Ausia up to spend some time there with you. It's a beautiful area to camp and hang out for awhile. I'm looking forward to your next video.Your friend, Louise
