With the 3 team trades, you have to also trade between the other two teams. Cause in real life it wouldn’t be considered a 3 team trade if one team was trading with 2 others, and they weren’t trading anything amongst themselves. That’s just two individual trades essentially
Theres three teams involved. Theres been plenty of "3 team deals" in real life that have 1 team sending assets to the other two while the other two dont send anything to each other.

@@Amm17arthere’s a “touching” rule (pause) where every team does indeed have to get something from the others. It might be a fake 2nd T55 protected (has to be at most T55, gotta leave 5 spots) or the draft rights to some random AF player or SOMETHING. The trade might be not even be reported like that, there’s literally teams who own the rights of random players they know aren’t coming over from x country JUST for this reason lmao. It’s so silly.
Also sometimes things are reported as 3 team deals that really aren’t, and vice versa. Sometimes it comes down to basically whether they’ll get a TPE or not depending how it’s structured. It’s incredibly complicated, unnecessarily so. This is at least how the last CBA was. Still waiting on Larry C to put up his CBA FAQ for the new one, maybe something changed. But there’s always some crazy nonsensical rules.
I knew the old CBA very well, too well. I don’t plan on knowing the new one like that, though the foundation is mostly the same…it’s unnecessary info to know anymore. I used to help some writers with their fake trades and stuff like that, make sure they were legal. I no longer do that, it was a little side hustle but now I have my own business so I don’t have time for it anymore. Not bragging or anything, that’s the LAST thing I’m doing, that sht did not pay well 🤣.
I even could be wrong bc it’s been years and I refuse to even go double check anymore bc my brain will explode, but 99% of what I wrote is true at least. Especially the parts about trades not being reported when it comes to the tiny details often times, 2nd round picks that are a swap of 8909987644 picks that changed hands 20 times thru 20 diff teams. If you ever ask why there’s T55 protected 2nds tho and the rights to 35yo European guys being moved, that’s usually the reason.
you should try to win a championship but you can't have a player 86 rated or higher. So 85 is the highest ranking your players can have. If they progress into a 86 (not including morale) you have to trade them. Good luck love your vids
Yoo Kenny for some reason swapping the placement of the 2nd and 3rd teams in the trade menu makes 3 teamers go thru sometimes. You can literally keep all the trade assets the same…cuz 2k is a great game. Also when 2k says 1 team is interested and the other isnt the game sometimes has them swapped so u really have to add more assets to the other team. I hope this helps

3 team trade will only work if it can’t be split independently between teams. In other words, assets need to be mixed, each team needs to either send or receive assets to/from 2 teams

Rule 1: You cannot sign any players during off season free agency.
Rule 2: Once a player’s contract expires, they’re gone from the team for good.
Rule 3: You cannot sign players in free agency to acquire assets then flipping them nor can you use free agency to fill up roster space.
Rule 4: No contract extensions or trades during off season free agency.
Rule 5: Trade only during the regular season.
Rule 6: Try and win 2 or 3 championships.
This is my challenge for KOT4Q let’s see if he can complete this.

Kenny you should try having the other teams trade protected future 2nd rounders so they are more involved with the 3 team trades. It may help with the trade success without changing the sim too much

How do NBA 2K streamers know so little about the game. Every time I watch these videos ya'll are making mistakes and completely misunderstanding certain features. A bit more effort and your videos would be so much better no to mention the rebuilds would be far more successful.
Like, 2K is a shit game but when it comes to trading for example, there is still some AI to it. Teams aren't gonna take players just because they are good when they already have an abundance of that position or the player is old and gonna regress 🤦♂️ Maybe if the game was better at adjusting rosters on the go and changing positions etc but it's no. So why would you be surprised when they obviously turn down offers that aren't really in their favor or decline offers for good players they wouldn't part with in real life simply because you threw some picks at them 🤷♂️

WIN a championship with the class of rookies from each year (you can choose which rookies you have on your team) eg. 2023 you can only pick players from that draft class for your team and you have 3 years to win a championship with those players only. No trades. They start at what they were rated when they were drafted.
You want to win just add Caitlin Clark 😅 besides her past stats, this season alone in 13 games she has had a 40-point game a 15 rebound game a seven steal game a triple double and a 7 three game, the only other NBA, WNBA and or division 1 men's or women's player in the last 25 years to do this has done this in one season was LeBron in 04-05

I think the logic of 2k is to make a trade with both teams. Like you're offering Jamal to Utah then Utah send back to Warriors then Warriors make a trade with you and to the Jazz. Thats what im seeing at.

Kenny you need to have the other teams send each other picks! That’s why they never accept the trades. They aren’t benefiting from bringing in a 3rd team. Use the other teams picks to send to each other
