That “roughing the passer” penalty against Washington was criminal misconduct by the Referee…
Officiating wasn't great, there were some other fairly bad calls on both sides.
Yeah that "roughing" call was a throwback to the old "great" Pats. LOL

Sadly that’s football now a days. That is suppose to be a clean sack fumble fumble hit but the NFL is baby soft now.
There's a pretty easy solution. Once the quarterback has thrown the football, don't hit him. People use the momentum excuse way to often, and it means the league gives backlash by enacting rules to safeguard the quarterback.

Let's acknowledge that Brady had a far better read of the game than any other QB.
He also never took shots he didn’t have to take. That last drive he would have made a safer pass, a check down, or throw it away and give your kicker a chance. People could say he played it safe but it’s more he played very smart. Brady knew how to utilize slot receivers, tight ends, and RBs in passing situations probably better than anyone, and once he got moss showed he could throw it vertical too. Dude was a magician.

Coming from a Pats fan, this season has been a punch in the stomach for me, and no team in the league deserves this. I like how Mac played this game. Unfortunately, all our receivers forgot how to catch a football (I'm looking at you JuJu). This season has been riddled with injuries on some of our big players like Matt Judon. We really need to draft Marvin Harrison Jr. this April to turn this ship around.

Having watched the Redskins for over half a century, I still say this team is much better than their record. The one really foolish mistake was the end zone interception at the end of the 1st half. Nevertheless, the Redskins fought on through adversity and found a way to win. Good show!
