Hey so hypothetical. You know those cruise ships charge per device to connect to internet? Can you connect the pineapple to the internet which has a portal page and then forward that internet to multiple devices w/o purchasing more plans?
Hmm, probably! At the very least I'd expect some kind of rate limiting... maybe you could write some kind of script to avoid that? I do know that they (at least on data towers) check the packet TTL or Time To Live to make sure that people don't do exactly what you're doing. So, that'd be a place to start.
It would make sense, since the NAT is coming from the pineapple itself. No different than having multiple devices at home, but to the world you have only one PAT address. Or like a VIP on a netscaler or F5. The pineapple is brokering the connection

Yo! It works as a middle man between the wifi/ethernet and whatever clients may connect to it. So it’s basically rerouting its internet connection to other devices 👍
6:34 i was stuck on this 24 hour wifi setup did not work.(nothing happened wifi dissapear) i try usb stick automated setup. nothing. then i try connect usb-c to mac so i get connect no. it wont work even install what ever documents say. it wont give me ip cant connect from usb from MAC! wifi from mac also not work. it connect but browser not connect. AWESOME WINDOWS i plugged usbc VOLA browser allow open wifi setup(from usb). then click button quick. works
hey nice video i got my pineapple yesterday and i am trying to scan all wifi and i found my ap but i cant find any connected devices into my wifi. actually i wanted to try deauth to my connected devices in my wifi but i cant find any connected device has it to do with my router becuase its 5ghz or secured or what? or do i need to install something more? my firmware version is 1.1.1
Hey wassup! you can deauth devices in the reconnaissance section of your pineapple web interface. You just have to do a scan to see the available networks and the devices connected to them, you can there deauth those devices and attempt to capture their handshake when they reconnect.

But every time I connect it to the internet for some reason it tells me it doesn’t have any connection when I try downloading the modules. So what should I do ?
Hey wassup! I would either use ethernet or connect to the internet in the settings. Go to settings, networking, and fill out the wireless client mode section 👍

It’s unfortunate to hear your email was compromised. But our site is hosted by wix so we couldn’t see your account info if we wanted to. I hope you can find the actual culprits.
It works well for me, guess you just got a bad model, and rarely should you go to a company for support, go to some forums that talk about that device, you'll have much better luck there. But if that doesn't work, then try searching around for some documents about whatever problems you have, took me 7 or so minutes to find the correct documents for the wifi pineapple mk7. But if you can't do that either, then not sure why you would even buy this thing if you can't do that.

At 6:37 you have to connect to a pre-existing Wi-Fi? So you would have to choose a Wi-Fi to run off of, then create the pineapple Wi-Fi?
