In the 40 km marathon run, trainee commandos have to run with 18 kg of the battle load along with their personal weapons. This is one of the toughest tests to check their endurance and stamina.

I did this in 1991 as a lieutenant and completed 40km in the first block. Now it seems like a dream.
Ran 30+ km with my bleeding leg-injury during the Escape & Evasion, came to know about the severity only at the end.
I also completed 30 km with 18kg battle load 💂💂💂💪💪

Wrong running without water with 30 kg backpack , 7 kg rifle , etc. In night with the temperature of 3-4 degree with a lot of pressure

If you want to run a big distance like 40 kms then to avoid or remove the psychological pressure ,,, divide the total big distance by your known familiar distance which you had often run..example..like if in your school time, you run for 4 rounds of a park regularly then you know its actual length, let it be 4kms for example ,now you divide the big distance by your regularly run distance...so, 40÷4= 10 times the same distance that you are having a perfection with...now, promise to yourself that you will definitely run 40 rounds of the park without stopping and indeed you will get the task completed...
