    It was great to finally see a test drive of the new focus! I hope you're able to do test drives of other vehicles as well. Keep up the great work!

    Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was able to keep this one for 2 days, so I'm actually going to see if there is a way I'm able to start doing more of these kind of videos.

    Honestly I think every car should be equip with blind spot mirrors. Blind spots have been a problem ever since the beginning and it seems like very VERY few car manufactures actually realize this problem lol.

      Eventually, I bet it will be a standard safety feature in time.

      Blind spots only happen when mirrors are Mis adjusted

    I am looking at a 2012 Focus SE hatch right now. I really wanted a titanium however reality came knocking and bitch slapped me and said son you do not have enough credit history for that all you can afford is the base SE right now. at first I was bummed out cause i want all the goodies but compared to my current car a beat down 94 grand marquis with no air conditioning and not even 20 miles a gallon a base focus is like a dream.

    I drove this car and I really liked it. Really loved the exterior design, but the only thing is probably the brakes. Like you mentioned that the brakes are strong. When I pressed down on the brake pedal slowly, it seemed to brake really hard. Either way, this is probably going to be the car I want to buy.

    I would love to do a Sonic, but I'm still in the process of finding a Chevrolet dealer who will allow me to film at the their lot. I'm going to try and talk to the same people who let me do the Cruze video last year. Thanks for watching!

    I have a 2012 Ford Focus Hatchback! And my brakes do the same thing! I fly forward. My dad said its because the brakes are brand new.

    This has a nice looking rear end and interior. Except the radio area. Could you do a Chevrolet sonic? Thanks. Great video

    Hello, Nice Video!! I'm hoping that you can tell me if the back seat bottoms flip up so that the backs can fold down flat!? Is that part of the sport package?

  • @memphis407
    @memphis407 11 лет назад

    yeah the base focus radio area looks like crap but that is what makes it cheap if you step up a trim level and add myford touch you get a decent look.

    I highly recommend a lavalier microphone or a dead-cat cover for the microphone on your camera to cut out on wind noise and to raise the clarity a bit. Good video otherwise.

    well no, 2.0l engines are pretty common and almost standard for most economy cars here. Are engines range from about 1.5l to over 7.0l. You have to remember almost every state here is bigger than England and we are a very young country so building roads was easy since most our country had nothing to begin with. With the interstate system most people moved out of cities and commute into the city which is also why we tend to have larger engines because of higher average speeds.

    Ford should have offered "smoked chrome" finish on the wheels. These look a bit trashy and ugly. I sat in one and it was very nice. Materials had a high quality feel. The center dash is so ugly! The leather seats are too flat for me. I don't know, but I don't thinks anyone has a flat butt! I felt like sliding side to side until I hit the side bolsters. I would like the NAV IF it was free. All the tech was great, as long as it worked fast. The MPG is not a great as I would expect!

    The roads in the US are so big! In England the roads are a lot smaller and they have lots of potholes, it even looks like we have more traffic than you! We don't even particularly drive small cars anymore, lots of people have larger cars/SUVs like you American people. Isn't a 2.0l engine big for a car of that size? In England the Focus comes with the Ecoboost 1.0l T engine, or a 1.6l. Only the ST gets a 2.0l T.

      BoschExxcel a 2.0 N.A. puts out only160 hp @ 6500 and 146 lbs of torque @ 4500 what’s your rating over there for the smaller T engines?

    After one year of owning my 14 se sedan, car sucks. Bad transmission problems and Ford won't do a thing. In the shop 3 times already. I wouldn't recommend the dct if you buy a focus. Make sure it's a 5speed manual. Don't make a $18,000 mistake like I did.
