- Today we are joined by a legend who hit the big time when she released her first hit single “I am in love with the DJ” at the tender age of 19. She has since managed to garner a large following all over the world and is called the African Princess for her embodiment of what it is to be African, loud, proud and always happy to offer a helping hand. We are also joined by a man who wears his identity and pride as an African on his sleeve. Starting off as a cleaner he managed to go after what his heart desires and is now a sought after disco king, whose reality TV show is one of 2017’s most-watched.
I am a Sierra Leonean & I must say ths woman had an impact on my nation we love queen 👑
Two women I adore in one interview .I grew up listening to Yvonne Chaka Chaka and I got to see Anele as a judge on the clash of the the choirs and just loved her personality. There is this song that was sang by a choir that I've been looking for ..Papa was a rolling stone, whenever he left his hat was his home..and when he died halloooo😂.With love from Kenya .
Her dad was brilliant!!! I never had a dad, but if I did, I would have loved him to be like maYvonne's. He sounds like he really loved his family.
Wow! Anele I didn't know that you've already invited Mam' Yvonne to your talk show. I must say I really enjoyed listening to this interview. I love Yvonne Chaka Chaka. She's beautiful, great conversationalist, and I'm sure she's a cool mum too. ❤❤❤❤
Yvonne is so eloquent....she is elitist. I like how she expresses herself.I like her so much

I will always YVONNE CHAKA CHAKA. I also like the fact that she is not wearing wigs like other African Women who think that wearing DEAD PEOPLE'S HAIR MAKES THEM BEAUTIFUL. Like look at Yvonne Chaka Chaka...natural beauty.
I would wish to meet chacha for sure
We love you Yvonne
Papa Penny actually had some profound stuff to say... to recognize yourself as an African and wear your culture is something you do not see often and one that modern society constantly tries to erase
i love Yvonne ....Zimbabwe loves you ..i think the whole of Africa loves you ..well done Anele ...Brenda vs Yvonne is like Biggie vs Tupac ...thats how big the rilvary was to us .. you were either for Brenda or Yvonne ..i liked both but i could not admit it ..Brenda was edgy but Yvonne was just as good .damn cant make up my mind
Brenda was a better singer though
I liked Yvonne as a person but liked Brenda performance,,,,,, and the beef between them was real,,,,,,,

Sinjonjo B commenter sfebe unamarights
Nkululeko Mahlathi whatever
Nkululeko Mahlathi On a scale of 1 - 2, how idiotic do you feel after posting that moronic comment? 1 being half witted and 2 being laughable**
She meant she managed to find something positive out of a brutal and oppressive system. That takes courage not to let life beat you down when things were so bad.
Im a gold bone #PapaPenny
