Administrative cost for the Organization is 8.5%. Out of $50,000,000 thats $4,250,000 in payroll etc. The other $45,750,000 goes to helping familes, recovering drug addicts & housing for them etc.
Ohh so all of a sudden you people attack CEOs who dedicate their lives to helping the community because of a 500,000 salary, but don’t bat an eye when a CEO of a company that makes violent video games or porn makes millions a year? Doble standard. I believe the way society views this is wrong. We should compensate the right people that portray our values.
We live in a backward society. As someone who starts an organization helping hungry kids in 3rd world countries with no financial help, this is extremely discouraging.
Wouldn’t it be better to use such funding to scale the organization up and help out even more people. With amounts like that can go towards hiring more staff and personnel to assist more people.
This is ridiculous. These companies receive money from good will donations... The people who apply to those jobs know they are working for a charity... If they want 300,000 salary go work for a for profit company. But to claim you have a right to over 300,000 of charitable donations as an equivalent salary ... Is proposterous.
So a guy that has started and overseen the recovery of thousands of people shouldn't be able to pay himself an awesome salary? God forbid a person who literally saves lives makes as much as a doctor or lawyer.
Wouldn’t it be better to use such funding to scale the organization up and help out even more people. With amounts like that can go towards hiring more staff and personnel to assist more people.
If only we would reverse this crazy mindset and start attracting the best talent and paying them well. Instead people like this reporter want you think that paying someone 1% of the total revenue is just insane. It’s craziness like this that keep really good CEO’s from ever thinking about becoming involved in good nonprofits. If these same people work for corporate America for millions and donate their money they considered hero’s, but work for a non profit at less than a 1/4 of the corporate pay and your evil. Just nonsense
It’s okay for for-profit executives to take in massive bonuses while helping absolutely no one and sometimes even hurting people and not okay for non-profit executives who literally work to help people? This is why our best minds go into the for-profit sector instead of non-profit... because of disgusting journalism and thinking like this.
No! They received tax money. For profit can do what they will but I do agree there needs to be reform in the industry to cut that and reinvest in their workers mainly their lowest paid or in the product itself.
If a non-profit organisation can bring in a CEO who would cost it a million dollars, but who can raise their donation base by two hundred million through his work, connections, affiliations, they should go for it, no questions asked.
Ok then let them take your own money through taxes, and they don't disclose this through revenue Canada, and then you., Donate off your paystub, a few measly bucks, and say you feel good for donating, but now you find out you already have, donated to the same charity, by the allocations of the government, on top to find out their pay, as opposed to your own, fucking rights, they are a pyramid scheme legalized. Why don't you just keep paying someone else to spend your own donation on a charity, but oh ya they get it instead. Why don't you get over it and just spend more. Realize their intentions. They probably have more income than you.
Well I guess he makes too much. Sorry drug addicts and the people he helped- you don’t get help bc they think the guy who runs the company helping you makes too much. Imagine only paying someone to run a company $50k a year, the size of these companies. Maybe they should work for free. 😂

Hey why they get this much money and the people who get attacked by inmates make 10 dollars?

$10,000 per week? Plus bonuses? Give me a break. Even half that amount is too generous
Stop hating
