@@Kevlar67476 takes about what.. 60k miles or less for the engine to chew through those bearings? Really wish they would have used another Cummins engine. Something grear driven, 4 cyl, and over-built.
So am I the only one who noticed that the Ford beat the Ram out of the gate at the down low torque and take off? Isn’t that what matters in a diesel truck anyways??
I have driven both, I prefer the seating position in the f150, but the ram rode nicer, was quieter, was noticeably faster, and all around was a nicer riding truck. Having owned F150’s and a dakota, this was really a shock..
@@camreid1457 The fast lane youtube channel raced a stock 3.0 duramax against a stock 3.0 ecodiesel and the duramax absolutely destroyed the RAM so it would be good to compare the 3.0 duramax to a tuned RAM. I suspect that the stock duramax will still beat it - LOL
You do know it's not a Dodge. FCA broke off the truck division from Dodge sometime in 2009 and made their own Ram division. It's a Ram product under the Stellantis brand now. Please make the appropriate changes in the future.
You are correct we misspoke. We have never broke the habit of calling Ram stuff Dodge stuff. Similar to “get me a pop or soda or coke” We promise to never make such a mistake again.
Ford junk! You can tell you favor fords and RAMS Not Dodges by far have the best interiors and the ecodiesels get really good mpg’s from what I’ve read.
I have a 2015 Ram EcoDiesel and I drove from Texas to Indiana 2 days ago. My average MPG was 30.6 MPG doing 70-75 mph for most of the drive. The average dropped to 29.6 when I arrived to my destination with a lot of stop and go traffic.
Oh ooh this is super easy... one of these trucks is mostly American made with an American motor the other truck, well you know.... -fix it again Tony!✔️🤣
Not owned by fiat anymore bud, and that Ram walked that ford and is built in America, the engine no and hate to tell you that 3.0 powerstroke isn't american either, was brought over from europe just like the ecodiesel.
Tune the RAM and watch folks cry
Tune that Fiat!
See what happens to those skinny mains.
@@Kevlar67476 LoL. Ok

@@Kevlar67476 Tell us you know nothing about the Gen 3 Eco Diesel, lol
My 18" Lariat, since I've tuned it, now gets over 700 miles a gallon.
🤣
Never been beat my a dodge before. Well now you have! 😁
Ram doesn't have a pentastar 3.0.
Beat me to it. Dodge also doesn't make trucks anymore, but hey... his world lol
VM Motors is who makes eco diesels
@@AlexK-zt8qb I know that.
They don’t put 3.0 Powerstroke in an F350 either. At beginning he said F350.

That f@cken dodge! Haha
I’m a Dodge guy, this was impressive to see from a baby diesel. Nice looking Ford too btw.
They’re dusting the chevys right now. A bunch of Chevy boys hopping over to team mopar

Pentistar ecodiesel. Nice
Test out the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 3.0 Duramax it’s very impressive
my dad owns one and i beat a titan v8 with it. quite a good engine

Did you mean F150? I would assume you said it on accident but figured I would ask
No wonder Ford dropped this one, they should have updated it maybe
Please tune 3.0 gmc
Working on it
F350? 3.0l diesel? Makes absolutely no sense lol
Glad I'm not the only one that caught that
Caught that too
Do you guys tune ecodiesels?
@4:37 thank me later 😏

It’s a ram not a dodge. And the Ford is a f150 not a f350….

Chevy 3.0 Duramax is quicker than that ram. By a good margin.
There isn’t a dodge in this video
Ram ! Not Dodge
Ram interior and layout 10000 times better.

What drive mode did you have the Ford in?
They didn’t have it in sport so it was even they said it
Norma mode, but It makes the exact same peak power in sport or normal on our dynos
That's not a fair race. Can't put f350 with 1500 ram. Get your size with a 3500 cummins.😏
Amazing

The Ford has a British motor, but- sure.
