Chris eubank scary as hell, he acts like such a gentleman but is complete batshit crazy and almost unbeatable in the ring... gotta love his character too like said complete mad man but in a beautiful way
Crazy to only those who don't understand the level of insights/ knowledge he has That's why media and most un educated people dis like him and made him out to be batshit crazy.
Lone Wolf eubank before he brain damaged Watson was a beast. Eubank was never the same fighter after he brain damaged Michael Watson neither was Ben when he done that American fighter. Eubank when he was passed it and over the hill gave a Fresh young joe calzaghe he's toughest fight. Calzaghe after retirement said eubank was his toughest fight. Eubank took calzaghe 12 rounds with 2 weeks notice or less ledgend and underrated
@@realnesx Both Eubank and Benn gave everything they had in those fights. When you give that much in a fight that you nearly kill someone you will forever be holding back from there onwards.
Eubank, a former world champion, and was STILL willing to learn and admit he didn't know how to do something. And that's why he was one of the best. Eubank was as hard as a fucking coffin nail, granite chin, heart of a lion
Agreed. some of the monster shots Eubank took off; Watson, Thompson, Benn, and co and in many cases just ate them like a chocolate digestive and went back to work. Seems a fun guy too.
I used to hate him when i was younger - in support of Nigel Ben. But as I get older I have learnt that he is a thoughtful guy, an his persona is really genuine part of him and not one big act - basically he been keeping it real. Right through his public boxing career. Let’s say he ain’t no Nassem Mohammed an actor
solid cake Calling any other prizefighter scared of Billy Joe Saunders is fucking hilarious! You know, given the way he cherry picked most every opponent he fought on the way up and then after he beat an old half crippled couldn't have been more shot if you unloaded a fucking hand gun into him Andy Lee for a world title held it up for almost three years, refusing to fight the other champions and top talents in the division in multiple well documented displays of abject cowardice and only made a single title defense of his meager three total against anyone even approaching being a credible opponent/legitimate threat.(David Lemiuex) How a guy that obviously gifted can absolutely squander his talent and conduct his buisiness and personal affairs the way he has and still have any supporters is absolutely mad. Ah well, at least they finally got round to stripping the title off the vicious ignorant chickenshit scumbag cunt a few months back, add in a few deserved savage back alley asswhippings and a prison stint or two and he'll about have gotten what he seems to deserve out of life at this point.
Let this be a lesson to us all; every day is a school day and learning never ends. Look at the fun these men are having. They both checked their egos at the door to the gym.
Lennox was sooo cool, he let Eubank roast him a bit then proceeded to give him the lesson where Eubank was in total awe, even if only for a moment. Great scene. Two legends of the sport.
little bosh Oooooh!!!! Get her - salty or what. And agreed. Calzaghe same as Eubank Snr - granite chin. Lewis? Not so much. Why get all sensitive about this? I'm merely pointing out the obvious.
Chris Eubank in his weight class hardly displayed the kind of punching power Lennox Lewis had but that being said he delivered possibly the hardest single landed punch I have ever seen on Michael Watson. I don't know if the aftermath of that incident made Eubank more skittish about throwing big punches like that but when he went all out he could punch and take one hell of a punch as well.
That fight changed Eubank, he never wanted to "hurt" anybody after that fight with Watson. At heart hes a nice bloke, cant understand the negetivity he gets tbh.
I dunno, Eubank didn't have a range of power punches, but his overhand right? That was a beast of a punch. Watch some highlights, he knocked a few dudes silly with that. Notably Nigel Benn in their first fight. One punch changed that fight and ended it very quickly. He didn't necessarily land his power shots as well as some other fighters, but to say he didn't display punching power is wrong. When that right hand connected, it was a serious power shot.
Yeah Eubank is a good person at the end of the day. He got assaulted by a dude once. Didn't go off on him, didn't even throw a single punch, just restrained him even though the guy was grabbing his balls. Most people, let alone boxers would have tried to beat the crap out of the guy. Eubank realised he didn't need to do that and resolved the situation without anyone getting hurt. To me he's a class individual, although a bit unorthodox in the way he acts. He's also not stupid. He made money from his arrogant persona as a boxer and being the "bad guy" of a very competitive British middleweight/super middleweight scene at the time. Fair play to him. Outside of the ring and hyping up fights, which boxers accept as part of the game, I've never seen him come across as anything but a class individual. Even if his reality TV show was possibly the cringiest thing I've ever seen, he still came across as a quirky but genuinely nice person.,
I love that from Eubank. 'I dont know how to do that' then proceeds to do it immediately. For all his persona he makes out before a fight, hes intelligent enough to take advice and is actually a gentle human being. .
see this Is what a lot of people can learn from. 2 different counties and yet same passion and can actually get on and have a convo. Shame I cant say the same for other people.
I remember reading a post on boxing forum by someone who fought Lewis, Holyfield, and Foreman. He said even though Foreman had hardest punch in terms of force, Lewis had this crack to his punch that would leave you blacked out for a split second when it landed.
I'm not surprised, you can often see the moment of amazement the first time Lennox lands a clean right hand in a fight, then the fight suddenly changes, the guy doesn't want more of this smoke so he stops trying to come forward, or even tries to get disqualified like undefeated giant Akinwande. Mercer was asked if he ever faced someone hitting that hard (about Wlad) and he said "yes, Lennox Lewis hits harder", he instantly thought only this name, and it was near the end of his career. I think his punching power is highly underrated. Morrison even took a knee on a jab !

The after ring banter for sure.

Treasure for Jamica then Africa then Canada then maybe a treasure for England.
