I had a blast! Who knew there were so many interesting artifacts out here. You got me hooked on metal detecting! Hopefully by the time you come back out here I'll have a collection built up to show off. Take care and thanks again!
@@aquachigger next time you’re Indiana bound give me a holler! I’m in central/south western Indiana! We would love to have you and I have some honey holes you’d probably love to get on. My email is in my channel description!

Love how wholesome and genuine you are! You never fail to put me and the mom in great spirits, Love ya Chigg, Thanks for the amazing content over the years!!
Yo Beau , You’ll never know how many people that your making smile, laugh and cheer up ! Thanks for your insights and humor and humility ! Now Chiggs, when Lindsay is mad at you just tell her, “You know , Lindsay….I DO make a lot of people happy and smile !!! 😂 just watch out for any slippers sailing overhead ! 😮 😅!
Thanks Chigg for taking the time with Matt ( a beginner ) I know you will hone in on the good detect spots and he will learn a great deal from the MASTER. Thanks Chigg for another great AQUACHIGGER ADVENTURE see you on the next
Really beautiful ❤️ countryside my family lived on an Old farm at rural route 1 in Jennings county, and Morgan's raiders had camped out there for a winter I always thought there was a lot of treasure there. Certainly a treasurer of childhood memories of farming and gardening and keeping barnyard animals and fishing collecting arrowheads and everything even those nightcrawlers! I wish I were there from Northern California
First time I ever went metal detecting, I decided to look for some coins or whatever near the river. One of my first finds was a Virginia militia belt plate. No kidding. Talk about beginners luck lol. In that same area, I found an eagle breast plate and two US belt plates. That was over about three months of detecting. Since then, I have never found it anymore belt buckles lol. It ended up being a site where the railroad came through to drop off wounded soldiers in Virginia.
silly squirrles... that part was so cool i love when you talk about any and all things, history is so cool i especially love when you say " there were people right here where i'm standing 100's years ago" it's just simply mindblowing!
that first thingy you showed us looked like a wagon wheel bearing the fins going into the hub to stop it from spinning in the wood, Must have been a billy goat cart. or some early cars had wagon-type wheel bearings. English wagons had the date of manufacture incused in the stub. Once the date was worn away the axle needed renewing.
Indiana wants me. Lord I can't go back there. Indiana wants me Lord I can't go back there I wish I had you to talk to. 😮 Thanks aquachigger now I got that song stuck in my head.
@@aquachigger one more what? If a man ever needed dying he did. no one has the right to say what he said about you. And it's so cold and lonely here without you. Out there the law is coming. I'm scared and so tired of running. Indiana's gotcha. 😅❤️
My great great grandmother was full blooded Cherokee American Indian. I would have loved to have met her to. Great video Chigg I wish you great luck this year may The LORD JESUS CHRIST BLESS YOU TO AMEN 🙏. See you on the next one
Very cool. Fun to see you hunting where I grew up. I remember collecting tons of arrowheads, axe heads, and spear points when walking the fields before farmers started going to no-till everywhere.
Thanks for that history sir, as a child in the 70s my brother and I collected a lot of arrowheads in the fields after the first rain after the first plow. Now I guess the no-till prevents that. But little kids can still have the thrill of finding them in the Creeks I guess and watch out for copperheads and snapping turtles
Im from Jefferson County Indiana, The whole town is a historical nightmare for the modern homeowners, but its a timepiece aswell lots of interesting history being a border state with just the Ohio river to seperate. We dont have much else up here but atleast we didnt come second place in the Civil War 😂
Chigg I live in southern Indiana and often wondered if there are any relics left from Morgan's Raiders. Up north the antics between Tecumseh and Harrison unfortunately brought an end to indiana’s First Nation people. Thanks for the adventure.
Chigg I’m in Carmel, Indiana which is on your way home north of Indy. I have a few special places I would of loved you take you. If you extend your trip or ever come back up keep me in mind. I research hardcore. Also Matt if you enjoyed yourself and want a contact just message me. Me and a couple guys go out a ton and have a blast. Enjoyed watching you out your first time. I found some amazing points last time I was up your way. I treasure and relic hunt.
Hello Beau. Welcome to my neck of the woods, Indiana. The lions share of history in that area is French/Indian fur trade, along the Wabash river and of course the last war with the native American population lead by Tecumseh . I'm sorry you didn't find much. Hope you come back to the state. There are a lot of caves in southern Indiana for you to explore and devoted groups of cavers to hang out with.
If you’re ever in southern indiana, visit Corydon. First state capital, and the site of “the battle of corydon”. The only civil war battle in the state. Very small battle and much of where it happened is probably off limits for metal detecting, however it’s still an old town with lots of farmland to search for artifacts of the time period. And I’d be happy to show you around!
Grew up in Cass county Indiana farmed 1200 acre's in the 70 and 80 no matter where you go you will find flint chips Tecumseh also ran through the whole state his brother lived in the area you were

You can tell what time periods the ceramic and other tells. Almost like a sixth sence. Or a hound dog i suppose. It paid off again! You can learn alot by looking at a person. Only took me 15years ! Lol. I wouldnt ever be able to do it like you. You have years of wisdom. Thanks for taking us along again ! Your one of a kind Chigg ! I mean that in a good way too!
Matts first find looks like a tooth from an oscillating saw you put on the back of a tractor kind of like the cutting edge of a soybean combine head they have triangles sliding back and forth and cut the beans they have some for grass of course you know that just trying to make sure who reads knows what I'm talking about might just be swolen some from the rust and dirt but can't see it very well but that's what it makes me think of
That .32 caliber rimfire could possiblely go back to the 19th or early 20th century. Smith & Wesson was the orginal designer, dating 1860. Colt had a .32 rimfire pistol. Certainly worth keeping.
That's awesome chig hope you find something good I'm in Montgomery county which is just the county right underneath you I live in a small town called Alamo we don't find too much civil war stuff here but I do find a button every now and again definitely a lot of Indian artifacts and again I hope you find something good looking forward for the next set of video freaking awesome you in Indiana
