Oh sorry, I am always worried that my videos would be too long. I will make sure I add more detail in my next videos. What were you looking for? Do you have any questions? 😀
That's gorgeous. I'm lucky, have a garage as my craft space but I know what you mean about having lots of materials. I'm trying to turn some of mine back into cash, going towards my kitchen 😁 could be a while. Making I can do, marketing not so much!
You don't need to use any cling film the ball can go right into the mold without it. Also the bauble can sit right into the cavity without any sticks or having to balance it. My friend makes them all she does is coat the bauble in some resin once bauble is filled pour resin half way up mold let it cure. Once cured she brushes the cured resin with mica then pours the rest of the resin to the top.
Omg I'm in love with this I may recreate it if you don't mind that's stunning and exactly what I pictured when I got my skull was how do I make this a globe lol I'll obviously use dif colors and whatnot but omg GREAT JOB THAT IS STUNNING 😍 👏 ❤️ 💖 ♥️ 💕 😍
Great job, well done. I love it Can you please advise how much water to glycerol do you use & also did you leave the plastic wrap on the bauble?] I have watched the video 4 times to try & see if I missed something but no I haven't. I was hoping to get more info from this video so please can you let us know what we need to do Thanks
Hello apologies for not replying sooner. I did not weigh the liquids. I kinda went with a 20 / 80 mix. 20 being water. But I kinda mixed a little and a time, until I was happy with the movement 😁 Hope you get it right for you.
This came out great! I did my first snow globe skull this week too. It came out good but still room for improvement. I might have missed it but how much glycerin did you use? Some of my pigment clumped up in the bulb and I'm trying to figure out why.
I put glycerin quarter the way up in the bulb and rest water. Then mixed. unfortunately I did not actually measure the volume, which I should of for next time 😃 Hope you figure it out for you. although volumes may change, to what you are adding to it. Eg Mica, glitter or ink xx
@@smurphyart-love2create268 ❤️ awesome thank you so much for helping me. There's no need to apologize your a busy lady . I hope you have a great day and weekend coming up. And get some rest
The plastic one suspended better I feel. I think glass would be heavy. But, it may work the same. I have not tried it myself. If you do, please share your result ? I would be worried, if it was dropped 🫣
I still can’t find this snow globe part of the video tutorial. Instagram you mentioned that the visto is on “mh channel”. What and where is that? I feel like I’m chasing this video all over the internet.
@@leannharris5854 I think I figured out how to seal it. Cut the top off tje ornament. Lime the edge with UV resin and put a clear, plastic piece over the top then use a UV light
Was hoping for more of a tutorial. However you did it nice work.

Love skull, beautiful . What size skull mold?❤❤❤❤😊
The skull was about 5 6 inches in depth. It is a mold I got from Amazon.

Thank you so much 😊
hi im a new follower, this is super impressive, youre talented, and inspiring!
Thank you so much!
I would have been afraid of the cling wrap melting from the heat or the resin. Thanks for sharing
I think it all depends on what you use. But normally cling film can withstand some heat. As I used to over food when heating in the microwave.

Perfect, of course recreate. I love sharing videos in the hope of helping others to do the same. If not better xx Thank you 😊
Hi loved your journey with this snow globe effect 😍, this one is the best, great work 👏 thanks for sharing ❤️ xx
Thank you so much, this is the result I was looking for. I will use this technique for any future snowglobe skulls I do. 😊
I love making skulls. This is amazing. Thank you for sharing! What size ornament did you use?
Thank you so much. They were the 6cm one, although they are currently out stock.

Lovely tutorial. What size was the skull mold?
I don't know actually, but it is the one that comes up in the Amazon search, when you type skull mold for resin 🙂
Great job, well done. I love it

I use half water half glycerin
What size is the mold and what size is the Christmas bulb that you used
It is the standard one, I got this from Amazon. If you type resin skull mold it should come up in the search 🙂
Cool idea!! How did you seal the bobble?
I sealed the bubble with a cling film and resin glue. 😊

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When using the oil and water how much of each? Thanks
I think I just poured and added water a bit at a time until I got the right viscosity 😀
this is beautiful can tell me how you sealed the ball for the snowglobe please
I sealed with clingfilm and a Gorilla branded resin glue. Thank you 😊
@@smurphyart-love2create268 thank you for replying and thank you for the information this is such a great idea I can't wait to try it :)
What size is the plastic ball?
Apologies in the delay, I have been working so much and been away from my channel. The ball is 6mm. It is a Xmas bauble 😊
@@smurphyart-love2create268 ❤️ awesome thank you so much for helping me. There's no need to apologize your a busy lady . I hope you have a great day and weekend coming up. And get some rest
What size bauble did you use
It was the 6 cm one I believe xx
What size ball did you use?
I think it is the 5mm bauble I used. It fits lovely in this mould.
Do you need to use a deep pour resin for this skull?
I used the letsResin resin (not a deep pour specifically). This was completed in two takes.
Does it matter if you use a glass ball or plastic one?
The plastic one suspended better I feel. I think glass would be heavy. But, it may work the same. I have not tried it myself. If you do, please share your result ? I would be worried, if it was dropped 🫣
what size snow globe did you use
6mm, it is a Xmas bauble. I purchased a pack of 12 from Amazon. Thank you 😊
You mentioned your Instagram account.. How do we find you? There is no link or Instagram name. I really want to see how you did the snowglobe
So sorry for the delay, have been away for a while due to new job and career change. I am S Murphy Art on Instagram also.
I would also like the video please 🙏🏻

Right?

Where can you buy the balls?
I got mine through Amazon x I hope you managed to give it ago and it turned out beautifully.
Bowbaoo? I'm confused, what is the boowboo??????????
Sorry it is a baubuel, they hang on your Christmas tree. 😊
Couldn't you have used baby oil instead of Glycerine water?
Yes baby oil would work just as good. Easier to get hold of also ☺️
