- Check out the new, All-Digital Xbox Series X and All-Digital Xbox Series S consoles, revealed during the Xbox Showcase 2024.
The All-Digital Xbox Series X/S will be available in Robot White with a 1TB SSD. There will also be a Special Edition Xbox Series X in Galaxy Black in 2TB SSD. It'll be available in Holiday Season 2024.

How exactly does an all-digital version offer more choices when it takes away your ability to own a game physically to begin with?
Nobody remembers that renting a game through XGP isn't preservation... Digital buy/sell market is the opposite of preservation. They can just take them away from the Pass if they aren't popular.
Digital preservation is allowing websites like Vimm for ROMS or emulators for older gen consoles to actually exist. Which get taken down all the time by these so called "game preservation companies".

@@TheJoker1904they made digital but they never gave the players the benefits like cheaper instead consumers gets less while the makers get more they even charge more and have dlc sometimes and shops its like quadruple diping. digital games at this point should be 20 dollars max maybe even less because there way more gamers means much more money now than before and more tech its easier to make games not harder but they charge like its just been invented and yes they do rippff gamers.
i’m guessing it will be a lower price point.

Bro, this is getting tired. Studios have been getting disbanded all over the game industry. It's unfortunate but just because they also did it, doesn't mean they don't care about preserving games. Those two things have nothing to do with each other. Besides I'd believe Xbox is preserving games far more than Sony and Nintendo at this point for sure lol

The only problem is that you can regularly find new series x's for 3-$400 dollars. Buy a 1tb expansion card for 100 and you beat out any option they are selling here.

At least with PC and Playstation you still own your games. Physical media = game ownership automatically and on PC GOG and Steam games can be played without an internet connection meaning 100% ownership
I'm a digital guy only for years, but I'll always buy the disc version to later resell and have the better power than the lesser digital.

Microsoft lost an opportunity here, the digital SX should be no more than $399.99 and the 2TB version should be at $499.99 at the most. If the PS5 Pro launches at $499.99, doubtful, but possible if we look at PS4 Pro history, this looks really bad for Microsoft this holiday.

That’s cool for the people who want digital media, digital media is kinda the norm nowadays, physical media is still present but sorta fading… especially in the video game industry. Doesn’t matter if you have digital or disc… they will always require the internet to deliver the content to your home consoles.
More and more kids and teenagers are getting into physical media and looking for it.

Nobody seems to understand Physical games are exactly the same as digital games, technically you don’t actually own anything anymore. Regardless of whatever you choose. The internet and or game servers are the key to unlock your games. Hell if that went away those physical discs would be just as useless as digital games except you’d have a endless supply of coasters or Mini frisbee’s 😂
You don't understand that at least with the physical disc when your done playing the game and no longer want it you can at least sell it or trade it or give it away. Plus when the servers get shut down and the digital veryof the game gets delisted from the Xbox store or game pass you will still be able play the game cause you still own the physical version. Use your brain dude that's why you were given one.

Doesn't really need to be, to last another 2.5 years until the next Xbox lands holiday 2026, well that is if rumors are to be believed. We just need games that actually take advantage of the hardware as is. No game uses SFS, I'm not sure how many actually use DS on Series hardware, or VRS.
No one is buying Xbox but instead of reducing the price of Xbox which they can definitely do as it's about to be 4 years old they release more expensive Xbox with increased storage as if there's a lot of games to play.
